I wasn’t given access to the property for HOURS after my check-in time, despite attempting to contact the owner several times. I finally had to book another room, and I was denied a refund. Do NOT book this property if you actually want a confirmed place to stay.

Amazing property!!! Amazing amenities!!! I wanna literally move in forever...communication coukd be way faster and better but overall...man this place is a hidden gem and i HAVE and will HIGHLY RECOMMEND ...close to all main attractions in long beach ... bars ... aquarium ...beach...restaurants...man i will be specifically be back for room 108!!!!!

Everything about this stay was perfect; clean, neat, stylish. Convenient location and our host was happy to help with anything we needed. If we ever come back to California, we will stay here again!

Signage for Laundry.

The building has its own unique charm and is centrally located. Accessing our unit was very simple and stress-free and the place itself was clean and comfortable. Communication with the property wasn’t the easiest, I couldn’t for the life of me find a number to reach anyone and when I finally did online it took forever to get back to me. Also there was no signage for the laundry room. One sign would be very helpful. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Hi Dear Nicholas, We are working very hard to improve the communications area, it really has been a challenge as we manage bookings no only from Expedia but from many other channels and there was no system in place, but we are very close to finalize our new system setup and that should no longer be a problem. About the Laundry, this information along with everything else you need to know about the property it is literally in the same private webpage we created for you "Guest Area", where you had the door codes, all you had to do was look around, we have a full FAQ, with everything from parking, laundry, storage closet, distance to the popular places to visit, restaurant recommendations, gyms, almost everything you can think of, hopefully next time you come back get the chance to take advantage of our fully automated rentals. Thanks for the feedback

Nice historical experience,......

Well I think 3 towels for a whole week is a bit of a stretch. The place is cool because of its history but that is about it.... if you are traveling and limited for body soap, and just like to come back to a room that has been cleaned a little or at least have fresh towels. For the 180.00 bucks a night that is a little tough. Long Beach is great and nice to stay but for that price just stay at a local Hilton or something else and get some of the services for that price.

Hi Sal, We can definitely do this as per request, our cleaning team is usually in the building around noon and can drop off more towels for you if you request it, as for the price these dates were on high demand due to the events in town, and the hilton would have actually cost you $400+ a night. Glad you liked the building
