Publié le 15 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe arrived just prior to midnight at the property. It was difficult to locate. The grass was knee high and garbage on the front porch. We had no where else to go. The patio was dirty and unkempt.
The instructions were to not wear shoes, keep the temperature at 75 degrees, not to flush toilet paper. We stayed. Mistake.
The next morning, in the daylight I further cofimed the misrepresentation, when the power went out while using a hair dryer.
I spoke with the owner about the misrepresentation. I had paid for 7 night. I told her I would gladly pay for 2 nights and asked for a refund of 5 nights.
I contacted VRBO and sent photos. To this point I have received no help. Still waiting on VRBO and the property owner.

I don't recommend this guest. This guest checked in very late, I have already prepared 6 towels for him, and I sent a text message to ask him if he has any other requirements or dissatisfaction? But he didn't say he was dissatisfied; however, he asked for towels at 6:46 am. in the morning. I didn't wake up so early, so I didn't reply in time, which may cause him to be dissatisfied...it's unfair to me to give me such a comment. However, I had brought him some towels at 9:28 am. As for the customer's complaint about the tripping switch, I didn't provide a high-voltage hair dryer. The customer brought the high-voltage hair dryer and caused the tripping switch. I repaired it within 5 minutes. No guests have ever reported tripped switches and untidy gardens. Actually, the gardener was weeding and cutting trees in my front garden that day, and my front garden isn't within the scope of the rental... However, the guest asked to check out that morning, and if the guest was willing to cancel the reservation, I can also agree 4 days rent back. Because it is impossible to get a full refund according to the policy when the guest has checked in; moreover, even if the guest cancels the reservation, it is impossible for me to get another guest's reservation in such a short period of time, then I will lose the rentals for these days. However, if the guest can cancel this reservation, at least there is a chance that my place will be open to other guests. I also replied to the platform that asked the guest to cancel the reservation, and I agreed to refund 4 days of rent. However, the guest didn't contact me and didn't cancel the reservation yet, so that my listing can not be opened to other guests these days, which is very unreasonable to me. Other guests have never complained that it is difficult to find my place; I suggested that guests turn on the air conditioner to 75 degrees and do not wear their own shoes, because I have prepared clean slippers, which is more environmentally friendly and keeps the room clean. When the guest makes a reservation, the guest should see that I have set the same content on the platform. If the guest does not agree, the guest can choose another listing. I have also hosted many guests, and many of them are satisfied with my place. I respect the opinions of the guests, which is the right of every guest. Thanks

SIGNS BY COMMODE SAYS PLEASE NO TOLIET PAPERS IN TOLIET. TV HAS FOREIGN LANGUAGE AND SHOPPING STATIONS ONLY. YARD A GARBAGE DUMP.

I don't recommend this guest. Before the guest arrived, I had sent out detailed instructions on how to enter the house with an independent entrance, and I also asked her to contact me if there were any questions. She never replied me; she arrived disgruntled and said she didn't know how to get in? I personally went to take her in; after she checked in, I texted her asking what she wanted, and she never replied. I've never had a guest complain about my bath towels, toilet, TV, and backyard. The guest only booked for one person, and I have prepared a large bath towel and a small bath towel; The sign I put up just asks guest to throw the toilet paper in the trash can next to the toilet to avoid clogging it. Previous guests have been very cooperative. Only this guest thought there was a problem; this is a smart TV. If the guest wouldn't use it, the guest could ask me. If the guest needs extra bath towels, as long as she asked me, I would like to meet her request definitely. After the guest checked out, she complained directly to the platform, saying that she had left behind valuable necklaces and earrings. I replied to the platform, I have repeatedly checked my place, and I didn't find any necklaces and earrings from the guest. I also texted the guest, asking her to contact me directly if she had any questions; however, she still never responded. It is very unfair to me that the guest gave me such a review because of these unreasonable reasons. I try my best to make every guest feel at home, but I hope that the guest should also treat the host fairly. Thank you!

Clean and easy to find parking

The host messaged me with the needed details before I arrived and had a parking permit waiting for me when I got there, which allowed parking right in front of the gate. Location is good lots of spots to eat within walking distance and most of your major fast food chains are in the area. Would diffidently not hesitate to stay there again.

Small Lovely Casita
