Small One bedroom vacation rental apt (about 480 sq ft) designed for two! Up one flight of stairs, this upper level apartment is situated behind the owner's house above the garage and has everything you need for a perfect beach get away. WE have added new hard-wood floors and air conditioning for your comfort! It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 2 minute walk to famous 2nd street with it's boutiques and Cafes.

The Red bus will take you downtown in minutes, to the Pike, The Queen Mary, and the Aquarium of the Pacific. Once downtown you can take the metro link to Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. You can also take the ferry to Catalina Island. If you have a car famous Surf City or Huntington Beach is a 10 minute drive, and Laguna Beach and Disneyland about 30 minutes drive. Just minutes away one can do kite-surfing, rent canoes, kayaks and sailboats. 3rd person $10 extra per night. $65 final cleaning in cash to be given for the maid. Standard rental contract to be signed. No Shoes, no pets - allergy free zone apt

La Verne Stay
Loved the stay. Carole was great. She met me for check in. Her husband is a cool guy and did my check out. Belmont Shore is the best neighborhood in Long Beach. Just park your car and walk to 2nd street for a cup of coffee, a beer or a meal. This spot cannot be beat in terms of location. Carole was cool and genuinely interested in our comforts place is stocked. You really don’t need to bring much. Great spot and good people.

Interesting neighborhood with crowded older homes-some nicely kept and landscaped. Parking is very limited on the street. Entryway is long and narrow and interrupted by steps followed by outside stairs to entrance. This was difficult for us as we are aging seniors.

Quaint Little Spot in Belmont Shore!
This was my very first time reserving a private property for travel accommodations (vs. a hotel). I was a little nervous as I have heard and read of some horror stories, but this was a great experience! The unit is in a well sought out area of Long Beach (near 2nd Street, Belmont Shore) and was clean and tidy as advertised. I love that the unit is tucked away for privacy and safety-especially great when you’re traveling solo. I am actually a LB native, but currently live out of state and regularly come home to visit my family and friends who live all over SoCal, so the location was centrally located to everyone conveniently. Anyone who knows the city knows parking can be tricky, but I didn’t have too much issue at all! The owner (Carol) was sweet and welcoming and made sure I knew she and her husband were available if anything was needed. I will likely stay again when I come back out and highly recommend this property! :)

Nice Apartment, Nice Location
The apartment is at the back of a main house and up some stairs. Its location is outstanding. You can easily walk to Second Street where there is so much happening, so many places to eat, shop, etc. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. Inside, the apartment is a perfect size for a couple or a small family. The bed in the pullout couch is comfortable too. Not a bad thing to say about the place at all.

A little getaway, a little staycation….
My boyfriend and I stayed in this unit for a few days while we attended a music festival at the Queen Mary. Everything from first hand communication, to Carol greeting us, to the absolute cuteness of the place was excellent! It’s perfect for two people. It’s quiet, clean, has everything you need. It’s also super centrally located to a lot of places to eat (literally walking distance). Really loved our stay, and will come back again!!!

Quick Getaway to Belmont Shores
My wife and I had a lovely time staying here. Carol was a friendly host and came to see us off when we left. Bed was comfortable and plenty of living space for us. Shower had great water pressure as well. TV setup in the living had access to streaming apps for post beach unwind. We had a great time!

Perfect little beach house
We had such an awesome time staying at Traian and Carol's house for our trip out to Long Beach. The apartment was perfect size for what we needed, clean, and the bed was comfy! We also enjoyed awesome conversations with Traian and Carol throughout our stay and got to learn a little about their life. I know we'll be back and will for sure look to stay with them again!

A lovely old neighborhood
We found the property to be what we expected, and the neighborhood was bikeable and walkable and in close proximity for driving to the places we wanted to see. The check in instructions were very thorough and helpful. Belmont Shores is a very pretty place, and there are many businesses and restaurants within walking distance. Appreciate the hospitality of the hosts. Renting bikes from these hosts was convenient, but if you want to cover more miles or do more than cruise the beach trail. you may want to rent more of a road or hybrid bike. All the neighbors were friendly too.

Excellent location, quiet neighborhood with easy access to great restaurants and bars. Cozy apartment good for 1 or 2 people. Parking is street but I’ve never had a problem finding a spot.(April) The owners Carol and Traian communicate well and are very helpful. I’ve stayed here multiple times and would recommend.

Wonderful hosts, great location!
We stayed for 10 days on business and could not have been happier with our choice to stay in Belmont Shores. The area is great, with plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Our hosts were attentive, but we had plenty of privacy. Parking was only a minor problem a couple of times, but never had to walk more than a couple hundred feet from the apartment. Most days, parking right by the apartment was available. Just a couple of notes...there is no food shopping within walking distance, (aside from a Rite-Aid with limited choices) and no laundry nearby. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay. Carol and Traian are very down to earth kind of people. They were responsive to our needs and made our stay very enjoyable. West Coast Fall Getaway
Navigating to the property was easy. Picking the house at night was not the easiest as the numbers on the other properties was not so obvious. The house number for this property is small and not so pronounced. Please take you time when you arrive on the street. I was able to access the property as stated by owner. Easy check in check out. Upon entering the property, it looks the way it is advertised. This historic charm mixed with the more modern design gives this property an identity all on its own. The property sleeps 2 comfortably than 3. I would say. The property was clean relatively speaking. The TV remote or other low-touch items in the property could use a little more attention as they were for example dusty or had some residue on them. The sofa sleeper is ok, but not the most comfortable, older and stiff trying to pull out it. The effort was made to mend where it is unfortunately ripped; it has a mattress pad to improve the feel of the mattress. The amenities are as stated. It is too my understanding the other guest that traveled with me asked for additional towels. The owner seemed to be hesitant with providing them. I asked the owner on another occasion and she did provide them. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, with unique homes. Parking can get busy. You can find a spot though. It is a great location. A nice walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. The owner was accessible and helpful.
