Epic Views Buddha Bungalow LA
Posted Oct. 25, 2024 on HomeAwayThe location of the property was fantastic for us as we wanted to stay outside of the main city of LA. The view over the city was amazing. That said we could walk into Hollywood in around 40 mins. The Beachwood cafe is a short walk down the hill which I would recommend if you didn’t fancy venturing into town as the food was great. The property itself is really nice although you are aware that the owner is upstairs and we found ourselves talking quietly and listening to the TV at low volume. It didn’t really bother us as we were out most of the time and we would stay again if we came to LA.

Unique and fun but wouldn't stay here again

Cons: owners' barking dog in upper unit, lack of AC, lack of electrical outlets, parking (not sure there's a fix for that though), outdoor motion detector light that lights up the bedroom at night.

This is a unique bucket list stay up in Beachwood Canyons among million dollar homes and no hotels up in the Hollywood Hills. We already mention that our listing already clearly states that Owner has a dog and lives on property. There is central air that's controlled upstairs at the Owner's unit Guests just needs to communicate w us and we can relay requests to adjust AC/Heat. There are window shades in the bedroom but if you're uber sensitive to light then best to bring eye mask.

Beautiful place
Posted Jul. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayThere can’t be a more beautiful view. The ambience of the place was so unique and fun. We loved it. Only complaint I had was the owner controlled the thermostat and it was too warm. keeping the sliding doors open and screens closed helped at night, but was too warm during the day. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great view!
Posted Jul. 3, 2024 on HomeAwayView of city is amazing. Location is close to tourist attractions yet so quiet and peaceful up in the hills. Great location to wind down and soak up the beautiful view of the city.

Perfect stay in the Hollywood Hills
Posted Apr. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayOur son is at Gnomon, a college specializing in animation and computer aided design in the heart of Hollywood. Our stay at this lovely one bedroom apartment high in the hills but only 10 minutes or less from our son was absolutely perfect. We love to hike and less than 200 yards from this place was a trail that led down to the Hollywood reservoir or up to Mulholland drive. The view was lovely, the night air cool and the surroundings tranquil. one couldn't ask for anything more.

Happy visit to LA
