Escape to this renovated one bedroom suite set in a bright bungalow. Discover a place to unwind featuring an open-plan living space, contemporary furnishings and decor, a full modern kitchen, and neutral tones and warm wood throughout. All the amenities you will need can be found plus a full kitchen with cooking utensils and more.

This one bed one bath apartment is completely redone from top to bottom.
The house's garage and ground level bedroom have masterfully been converted to a stunning one bedroom condo. With its own private entrance, the unit sleeps up to 4 people comfortably with a full kitchen, heat, A/C, tv, cable, wifi.
You will find everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible including soaps, shampoo, and fresh towels, cable tv, wifi, coffee and lots more.

The guest home is pet friendly and check in and out are very flexible.
The home is located in wonderful Valley Village and is very close to great shopping, restaurants and is also within minutes of all major freeways to get you anywhere you need to go while in LA.

The unit is a Guest unit that is separate and completely private and you are free to access the entire place. Access to the unit is on the left side gate and there is a corridor that leads to the entrance door.

This wonderful pocket of Valley Village is on the border of both Sherman Oaks and Studio City, so it's really in the middle of everything. The neighborhood is very family oriented, extremely quiet, and pleasant. It is close to shops and restaurants.

The unit offers free and ample street parking and luggage drop off if needed.

As far as public transport there is the metro bus that is about 3-4 minute walk.

We the hosts can be counted on to answer any questions you may have or handle any issues that may arise at any time.

- Operating hours are from 11 AM to 8 PM. For any urgent matters outside these hours, please feel free to reach out. If your concern is not an emergency, we kindly ask for your patience until the next morning. Please rest assured that any issues will be promptly attended to and resolved the following day. You can contact us any time by phone, email. For non-urgent inquiries or concerns, you can also send us a message, and we will get back to you promptly the next day.
- Please use street parking only, there should be plenty.
Please no smoking of any kind on the premises, this means no cigarettes, no Cannabis.
- If you absolutely must smoke please make sure you do it offsite. Any smell or evidence of smoking and you will be subject to 500 fee.

Gotta Read the find Print that is not there!
The property had an ant problem that was known about since there was already ant poison in the cabinet. There was construction either on the property or adjacent that was not communicated prior to the stay. Informing the property manager about these things offended him. Since it was a last minute booking doesnt qualify for a refund and VRBO is no help, the entire amount paid gone because we had to book another property and eat the loss! Mike and Julie could have done better and gotten a much better review!

Convenient and also tucked away
The Charming Guest House was ideally located for us. It’s on a quiet cul-de-sac but very convenient to major streets and highways. The space was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We did not cook but it looked like it was well supplied for those who wish to do so. It was easy to find the entrance and use the entry security system.

The property was great. Very clean. Great location. Only 1 little issue. We had purchased Voodoo donuts for the following days breakfast. Woke up to ants enjoying them. Had to throw them out. Other than that it was awesome!

Fun holiday trip
We did not end up staying at the location we originally booked due to some unforseen issues at the property. That being said, they reached out right away and offered us a different property to stay at. The place was perfect for what we were looking for. A small place, that was pet friendly because we travel with our dogs. They did not stay unattended at the unit the time we were there because we booked a day stay at wag hotel for them. Everything worked out well dispite a bit of miscommunication. Would still recommend staying here though because it was in a nice neighborhood with easy street parking.

Perfect Valley / Studio City Location
We needed to be close to the Coldwater Canyon area and decided to stay at this property. It was very easy to find, the host was very easy to contact and the unit was very clean. It’s true you have to park on the street as the general driveway seems to be utilized but I never had to park more than one house away. Also, it’s on a cul de sac and the families in the area are very active outside, so even coming and going alone at night I never felt unsafe. If the dads are not out walking the moms and kids are out walking and playing. So, I give it high marks for safety. The TV had plenty of apps to watch but it’s in the living room only. At night I generally just used my iPad in the bedroom to watch what I wanted before dozing off. WiFi seemed strong and available whenever I needed it. Kitchen is pretty equipped. I gave the owner feedback on some additional touches that would be nice, but overall I lacked for nothing while using the kitchen. If you want an easy and yummy dinner option I highly recommend Sharkeys on Coldwater and Ventura. The portions are enough for two people or two days if eating alone. Organic and flavorful. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Overall this unit is a 5 out of 5.

Great neighborhood stay, but not the best parking
We had a wonderful stay at Valley Village. The home was in a cul-de-sac in a very tightknit neighborhood. We felt very safe and it was very quiet with friendly neighbors. The unit was clean and so very cute for a family of three and our dog. The only issue was the parking. Being in a cul-de-sac, there is never ample parking because of driveways being so close to one another. For the driveway related to the unit- there is room for six cars, but there’s a stationary car in the driveway with an empty space in front of it. If the owners would move that stationary car up there actually would be space for guests to park 1 car at the end of the driveway. We ended up parking half a block away to a block away at one point (not fun when you have suitcases). All in all it was a good stay. We would definitely stay again, but we’d have to either bring a cart or do all backpack packing.

First rental/VRBO experience
This was my first rental/VRBO experience ever. Overall, the experience was fine. We stayed 3 nights. The place is a side miniature apartment attached to a home. There are two rental units attached to the home. Cleanliness is a huge thing for me and I feel this is what made my experience not as great here. To the naked eye, the unit was clean. Walking into the property, opening the door, it did not smell fresh and clean. I was hoping to smell pine sol or anything resembling clean. Next, throughout our stay we noticed leftover pet hair throughout the space on the floor that showed up on our socks or things we picked up from the floor. This really grossed me out. The bed was comfortable and clean. I think the couch is either a pullout bed and I noticed maybe some sort of additional folded bed in the closet. We did not use either. The shower was a bit too small for our liking, especially if you have small children. Personally, I would not recommend for a family. Maybe if the 1-2 children are a bit older (5+) it would be okay. I think this place is better suited for a couple without young kids but can work if necessary. There's only street parking and you could sometimes end up far down the street from the property. Neighborhood seems safe. I also enjoyed having access to kitchen amenities.

Superb Guest House
My wife and I only stayed here one night, but it was an awesome little guest house. Had everything we needed. The area has everything you need and the neighborhood felt very safe and was very quiet. Mike and Julie are great hosts. Whenever I sent them a question they responded very quickly. This guest house was VERY easy to access and was very cozy and comfortable. Really did feel like a home away from home. The only issue I had, and it was a VERY minor issue, was parking. The property is located on a cul-de-sac and there is no place to park near the guest house. You have to find available parking on the street in the neighborhood. So, I parked in front of the guest house (blocking the driveway), unloaded our luggage and then moved my car to an available space in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this place for a single person or a couple. Location is great and anything you want to see or do in LA is not very far away. Thank you Mike and Julie! If I ever make it back to Burbank, would love to stay in your guest house again!

Schöne Ferienwohnung zum Wohlfühlen
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung sieht wirklich so schön aus wie auf den Fotos. Die Lage ist super und sicher. Das Haus findet sich in einer Sackgasse in einer tollen Wohngegend. Die Vermieter waren total nett und haben uns jederzeit weitergeholfen. Wenn wir das nächste mal in LA sind, möchten wir wieder hier übernachten.

Clean, great location for a short stay
Located in a quiet neighborhood, this one bedroom is perfect for a short stay, even for a business traveler. It has all the basic necessities, not a lot of bells and whistles which keeps it simple. The shower was a bit small for me and the TV was confusing for this boomer (millennials would figure it out in a heartbeat!) Overall, a lovely property with gracious hosts.

This wonderful little spot had everything you could possibly need for a stay away from home, in a great location. Minutes from Studio City, Hollywood, and all necessary amenities. This was a great place to stay but I didn’t realize there were other people staying at the property, as well. I believe there are several suites for people on the property so it just made it not as private but still a great place. Host was very responsive in communication when we had questions!
