Hôtel original, un retour dans le temps

C'est un peu un retour dans le temps, au début du 20ème siècle… donc s'attendre à des chambres peu lumineuses et une isolation thermique pas optimale. La connexion au Wi-Fi n'est pas bonne. La situation proche des plages de Santa Monica est optimale. Le prix des chambres est un peu cher.

Nice but not luxury
Publié le 21 août 2024 sur HotelsLobby and grounds are beautiful but hotel is a little quirky. No liquor license if you want a drink at the hotel, and minimal staffing. Lots of character throughout - our room had a full kitchen, breakfast nook, walk-in closet and ante room for make-up/dressing.

Property was beautiful, room was a good size and very clean. Decor and overall vibe was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great. Easy to walk to bars and restaurants or to the boardwalk/beach. It was a warm night without AC. The room had large windows to open to let in a breeze but this offered little to no privacy. Screens were in disrepair and the neighborhood was a bit noisy at night, but overall experience was good. Glad we tried it out but not sure it’s worth the price. We were charged for valet parking and the vehicle was too large for the garage so we ending up paying the parking fee for the valet to leave the vehicle parked on the street near the hotel. Had we known, we would have found a spot on our own and saved the $50.
