It wasn't terrible but it can be much better

If you are there for vacations (Disney,Universal, etc) this hotel is nicely located not that far from everywhere. Building and rooms looked dated and worn, the microwave was filthy and there were bugs behind the fridge. Also, shower was really short (I am 5'7) and I had to squat to clean my head.

Pictures of the property highly misleading. Property hasn't been updated in 30 years! Old crunchy carpet. Pillows were horrible! There was a drain pipe coming out of the ceiling in our shower from the room above us. Really!!! The elevator scared us with the mechanical grinding.

Let me start by saying I have stayed here many times before when I have visited my family. But my resent stay I was very disappointed with the hotel and so was my family and I will not be staying here anymore and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. And my reasons why "The staff were very unprofessional not friendly the whole hotel is Very dirty from the front of hotel to the back tires ,trash, tagging, the landscaping needs work paint chipped from building And my Biggest Reason was the hotel was housing a large group of Hispanics that looked like refugees or illegal immigrants playing music loud with there doors open from there rooms and many bags of trash outside of room in hallway hanging out in the walk way making it unsafe and dangerous. I asked the front desk to replace my burned out light outside my room and nobody replaced it And there is no Security.

Good but my GPS had trouble with misdirection.

Gone all day used mainly for sleep. Good reasonably large bedroom, bathroom, and living room. I guess bring your own water to make coffee unless use tap from bathroom faucet. Remote to operate heater little complicated to use. TV remote for living room was funky. Nice to have little refrigerator and microwave. I appreciated the quietness. At night place was difficult to find, should have sign on Taylor St side. My GPS said take ramp leading to HW 60 but when on ramp said my destination said reached my destination. Missed it was already on ramp couldn't backup, happened first two tries at different times of day. First time went to my second destination Then came back late night. Third time a charm I because aware.
