The staff was excellent. I couldn't get into the first room and they immediately gave me a different room. Onsite parking was free. The surrounding area was a bit noisy, but it's LA.

It was the worst hotel ever! The heater or AC didn’t work and I called them to fix it. Instead of fixing it or changing my room they said they will give me an extra blanket, and even they didn’t bring it to my door! I got cold because of not having heater. Also, they touched my stuff and move them to lobby before my check out time arrives! I had a big fight with them and they didn’t even apologize! Worst hotel ever, nightmare.

A must Motel to find in DTLA area
staff are amazing and super friendly, I am frequent to this motel, it is safe at night, walking distance to all eatery in chinatown and super quite area. if you are on a budget trip and in Dtla, I highly recommend this motel. and it is an iconic movie location rush hour was filmed here.

I just love the area and this place. It’s eccentric and a classic dive motel. But dive in a charming Americana embracing orientalism! However unless you really need to be in this area I’d stay on the coast cause the area is crowded, noisy, and lots of homeless.

The room looked clean, but the bathroom smelled bad. Very basic room with no frills. The rooms desperately need remodeling. Lots of old, worn out things, like cracked sinks and a loose shower drain cover. No microwaves. We won't be staying here again. There are much nicer motels/hotels for the same price. Employees were indifferent, definitely not friendly.
