The hotel was in a perfect location to LAX airport. The airport shuttle was convenient. The hotel lobby was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. Dining options are limited in the area. Be prepared to Uber/Lyft. Housekeeping was non-existent during our 3 night stay. We had to request the bathroom be cleaned, additional towels and the beds were never made. Hotel is close to our event at SoFi Stadium but a distance from tourist activities in LA.

We just needed a place near the airport and it was perfect. Very close for a very early flight. Take away cups for the in room coffee available and the rooms were very comfortable and nice. Also a great price.

Overnight layover at LAX

Nice spot somewhat close to the airport. Be careful not to take the wrong shuttle from LAX (there is another Sonesta hotel located close to the airport).

Nice LAX value

Nice hotel and well priced for LAX with free shuttle. Not much in the area, but there is a In N Out up the street, and a Vons across from it that has extensive deli selections to take back to hotel.

In Expedia this property looks great, the reality is it could be but is not great: GOOD: public areas look very nice. Paid Breakfast is good, management asst. manager good friendly competent. Check in staff good. Rooms are basic but bedding quality is good, clean. BAD; Toiletries are horrendous smelled rotten. Hotel staff said they are changing toiletries. Coffee in room is a no name brand with a horrible taste. Building is old, landscaping really bad looks outdated and low end. No microwave in room. No safe in room. Towels are crummy. Carpet outside elevators is filthy. Would I stay here again - NO - lots of other options in El Segundo

A great place to stay

My stay was great! The hotel was clean, pet friendly, inviting and welcoming. The staff was nice, pleasant and professionally polite. I enjoyed my quiet stay. The hotel was in a great location. We were near excellent sights. My daughter said I made a great choice in choosing The Sonesta.

Called earlier the morning of the stay about an early check in & was assured I would be ok, I was more than willing to pay the up charge & gave my time I would arrive & was there 10 min earlier... Then informed there wouldn't be anything ready until 4!!!! .... We chose to sit in the lobby to wait, another customer came in & was given a room at 1:45 & the lady never signaled to come check in ... Lady left for the day never informed the afternoon staff we were waiting, I went back to the desk & was informed yes we have rooms available this was at 2:10!!!! ...
