The Garland room was big and spacious; very comfortable. I loved the view from the sitdown balcony and the shower was amazing. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The front desk staff were very friendly and courteous. I had problems with the TV in my room. It didn't work at all the first night. The next day they fixed it but there was no sound. Once that was fixed I had a working TV for about an hour!

Finally after 8 years of chains I go fund a place that has everything—nice rooms with balconies (ask for 7th floor ) and sparkling bathroom. But the best is the pool ( with kids’ movies nightly on outdoor screen) and very good bar food. Breakfast was good and served in a cozy setting. Now if they’d just reduce the price…

Recently stayed here while on a trip to Universal Studios, the staff and service were excellent. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from Universal Studios hourly which was so convenient. The pool area is very cute but was really full when we were there- we were able to order lunch at the pool which was really good. Our room was very cute and clean, the only downside was that the bathroom area was very small. I would stay there again!

Bad Customer service

Since i walked in the lady with the Mexican lady with big cherry nail and wan we walked in she had a upset face. Like if she was bothered. Was super rude and didn't even what to help my family and i. They gave my reservation away and put us in a room with 3 kids 2 male adult. I loved coming here with my family and friends. I guess no more

The Garland was perfect for my family of 5! It reminded us of classic Hollywood and provided many subtle amenities helping to make our stay exceptional! We will return and highly recommend to friends and family!
