The casa is beautiful overlooking the sea (you are very close to water)...
It is very calm and relaxing...
There are few restaurants in the sector...
You need a SUV or equivalent car to circulate in the area...

Beautiful, quiet spot by the sea
Publié le 17 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayGorgeous place to get away from it all, and we loved the kayaks! Definitely bring water shoes for the rocky shoreline. A/C in the bedroom works great, but be prepared to acclimate to the heat and enjoy the ocean breeze. A fan for the house or patio would be be a nice addition, but otherwise everything was wonderful! Jonatan, the property manager was super responsive and helpful, and we loved having the kitchen and grill to cook and enjoy meals to the sounds of the waves.

We had a wedding in Cabo and because of the distance I decided to make a vacation of it and wanted to go beyond the typical resort area of Cabo/San Jose.
Los Barriles is a wonderful little town that is still small, but has all amenities you’ll need.
Swimming in the bay is absolutely lovely, but besides goggles you must have water shoes. I’m not a wuss, but there are soooo many rocks to walk across before getting in the water that it’s almost impossible without shoes.
The casita is very comfortable and great hosts! I usually travel with my Vitamix for juicing and smoothies, but no need as they have a solid blender and most everything you’ll need to cook your meals.
A fantastic spot for sunning and for a reset!

Just right for a couple who loves a private spot with a gorgeous water view, sunrises over the water, and everything you need to explore the area and relax. Very comfortable and clean, lovely generous hosts!

The sunrises in the morning were beautiful, and the whale show in front of our casita was amazing . Brian and Lucy were lovely people and great to deal with. We will definitely be going back

Publié le 6 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really loved meeting owners Brian and Lucy and staying in their beautiful house. The sunrises were breathtaking! The house and grounds were spotless and well maintained. The views from the porch are stunning.
We will definitely be staying here the next time we visit the area. The ATV rental place was close to the house. We loved seeing the goats and cows that wander around!

Loved Our Stay!!!

The 10 days we spent there was so relaxing and it went by way too fast. We really enjoyed meeting Lucy & Brian!! They were so helpful and made us feel very welcome! Thanks for sharing your beautiful casita with us; we hope to be back soon. From the moment we stepped foot in the casita, we knew it was going to be a great vacation. It was so comfortable and relaxing. We loved the time we spent on the beautiful lanai watching the waves roll in and looking for the whales to breach. The Casita Tortuga was perfect!!!
