Very friendly informal hotel with freshly decorated rooms.The food is cooked to order and good value for money with something for all budgets and tastes.
Local are is stunning and the hotel sits on the front

Only issue I had was couldn’t sleep for the seagulls even with the windows closed. Can’t help nature though

If the lady in charge who coohed breakfast wasnt so rude perhaps my stay would have been a better experience..i had paid for the second night stay but chose not to stay as didnt feel safe

Good location. We had been charged at least double the average amount for some reason. So we were expecting to stay at a high quality establishment. It definitely wasn’t. It was quite run down and in need of repairs. The usual charges are a more acceptable and I think if we hadn’t been charged the inflated price and paid around the usual average we would have felt it was a fair price for the location.

NON ANDATECI !! L’unica cosa positiva è la spiaggia di fronte all’hotel ! La sera appena arrivati, erano quasi le 20 il ristorante era già chiuso, perché la domenica chiude alle 19.30! Il locale era ancora affollato e non si sono interessati minimamente di aiutarci se non mandandoci in un altro posto, secondo l’iro aperto invece era già chiuso (poi ho scoperto che era un locale dello stesso gruppo. La cosa peggiore però è che ci hanno chiesto se volevamo fare la colazione la mattina e abbiamo detto sì e ci hanno chiedto di pagare in quel momento 30£ per due. La mattina siamo scesi alle 9.35 ma non ci avevano detto che la colazione era fino alle 9.00 così ci hanno fatto pagare per nulla ma non si sono offerti assolutamente di offrire banalmente un caffè o un the e un po’ di pane e marmellata!
Tra l’altro una mail di Expedia (tramite dell’hotel) ci comunicava che il prezzo della colazione era di circa 7 sterline per la colazione continentale e 12 per la scozzese e non 15!! Dovevano farmi richiamare, l’ho fatto io ben 3 volte senza riuscire a parlare con la persona che aveva fatto il check-in!!! VERGOGNOSO !! Riguardo l’hotel, camera piccolissima, bagno altrettanto, forse 2 mq. Letto scomodissimo, cuscini pessimi ! State lontano da questo hotel !! Pessima esperienza con conduttori super scorretti! Che tristezza….

Good Morning, Thank you for your feedback.Im sorry you were disappointed with your stay. Unfortunately on a Sunday our restaurant does close earlier. This is why my staff recommended that to try our other restaurant round the corner. I also explained to you that breakfast is to be paid when booked. Staff also explained to you that weekdays breakfast is served 7.30am-8.45am. There is also the information in our rooms with all the opening times. Breakfast has had price increase since you made your booking.I can only apologise again to you that your stay was not enjoyable.Kind RegardsAlison KeithHotel Manager

Our room had a wonderful bath tub. Great view of the water. Very nice people who served us. Wonderful upgrades to an older building. We would rent again.
