We enjoyed our stay at Rydges, however our checkin was very slow. There were two people working with customers ( who took forever to get their room). We were next in line. A third person was working behind a desk. I thought they could have helped in checkin.

Everyone was so friendly!! Kids had so much fun at the pool. Awesome kids waterpark. Loved the train rides and kids activities. Golf course right there. Excellent buffet breakfast. So much options for eggs and the pastries were yum!

Overpriced, outdated hotel

Old, outdated hotel. Family friendly but at capacity there was too many people. No seats left at swimming when we went at 3pm. Long wait to get into the breakfast buffet if you go after 8.30am. Also fire evacuation and no reimbursement on our drinks and food that we had just ordered, and then kids couldn’t go to bed until after 10pm. Management could’ve done a better job with communicating to everyone when to come back. We went elsewhere in the resort as we got tired waiting outside the hotel for over 1 hour and they sent staff to say an announcement would be made over the PA system in the whole resort. However no announcement in the resort outside of the main hall area, and we only found out we could go back to our room after calling the reception multiple times ourselves.
