Publié le 12 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayLocation is fine and safe, accommodation is old and needs upgrading - some items like the dishwasher were out of order. Check in process was awful, our flight was an hour late and the property manager had gone, and refused to come back (we don't think she was ever there in the first place) so we had to find our on way to the property at 9pm which took ages to find. When i emailed the owner for an explanation - he emailed back saying he had now blocked my emails, which kind of sums it up.

Mr W and his mother were supposed to be on the flight from Trinidad arriving at 7-05 p.m. in Tobago Wednesday evening. Val Harris the owner of Harris car rentals was there waiting for them from 5-30 p.m. to 8-30 p.m.
We have used HCR for 20 years without a single hiccup in over a hundred rentals. The flight arriving at 7-05 p.m. arrived around 7-30 p.m. Mr W and his mother were not on board. VH left the airport at 8-30 p.m. and went home. She tried on a number of occasions to phone Mr W but there was no reply. Mr W contacted VH by phone just after 9-00 p.m. They had arrived on a later flight just before 9-00 p.m. Nearly two hours late. Mr W was verbally rude and aggressive to VH so much so that she decided she did not want Mr W's business. She did though provide clear instructions to his taxi driver on how to find and enter our property. Our property is a twenty minutes drive from the airport. On the Thursday morning when I became aware of the issue (I am UK based so it happened overnight for me) I contacted our rentals manager who immediately visited Mr W at our property and arranged for another car hire company to provide a car for his stay.
Mr W says I blocked his emails. Eventually I have done but after providing a detailed version of events and screen shots showing calls from VH to Mr W. Yet he still wanted more. Mr W is trying to blame others for his own error. This issue could easily have been avoided if Mr W had simply informed VH that he was running late.

Lovely relaxing time

Suggestions: Check the grill as it is challenging to light and showing signs of wear and tear, it would be a good idea to consider changing the pillows as they are not giving much head support.

Perfect location in Tobago
Publié le 23 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe villa felt like a home from home, very comfortable with all needs met for cooking, entertainment via the smart TVs and comfy beds along with en suite bathrooms. We found the additional rooms with cupboards and shelves especially useful for our 2 week stay.
The Swimming pool was ideallic.
I would recommend this property for your time in Tobago.

Its very quiet, so if you want to sit reading at the pool unbothered, this is the rental to do it. Theres also a varied selection of books availbale as well. We love this place . Excellent communication by the owner/manager. The villa was clean and very comfortable for my family of 4. Televisions with streaming apps were available throughout the Villa. Great internet connectivity. The only areas that I wish were better are: (1) shower - better water pressure needed and (2) I wish there was an AC unit in the kitchen/dining/sitting area. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Perfect Getaway
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis villa exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. The Caribbean décor was amazing and the endless stock of books much welcomed.
While we are frequent visitors, our (first time) stay here has contributed to this being our best vacay in Tobago. My children loved the heated pool and asked if we could live there!
The host, Nigel communicates throughout the process. Everything was as indicated. Self-check in was effortless and using the suggested rental (Val) was an added bonus. Local food places suggested were delectable. We will surely be back soon.
