Publié le 12 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was the second time my spouse and I have stayed at this wonderful property! Carol and Dan are the best hosts ever ! Anything we needed was already in the cottage ,even games, puzzles and movies if your not outside enjoying the fire and beautiful pond ! This is our forever spot to get away from the city and enjoy nature and tranquility. Next trip will be ASAP , we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in paradise. Thank you so much Carol and Dan for letting us enjoy your beautiful property! ❤️

Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay off the grid! Relaxing weekend without phone service. Clean and comfortable . Had everything we needed. Our dog, Ripley loved the pond and the trails. Carol and Dan are great!

Thanks for reviewing your stay. The service for cell phones is quite iffy~that’s why there is a landline with unlimited calling for guests. It’s nice to just get calls from people you want to hear from. Sometimes ‘telemarketers’ can be quite bothersome! Dan & I hope you had a relaxing time up here! Carol

We hear ya….but, a lot of guests really enjoy unplugging and just communing with nature and each other. So far, in the 22 years we’ve been sharing our cottage with others, we have had so many people that love being without wifi plus the nightly rate to stay has not changed within that time of 22 years. Either way we sincerely hope you enjoyed your stay !

Best Weekend
Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe got married here on the property and it was the most amazing and beautiful experience I’ve ever had. Carol and Dan were so unbelievably more than accommodating and generous with their help and kindness. We made sure to stay very careful with the property so as to not ruin or damage any of the natural beauty that this cottage offers, and I couldn’t have dreamt of a more picturesque place to have a wedding and our mini-moon. Carol and Dan helped us with set-up, flowers, cleaning, and joined us for our ceremony and reception, and we had the most incredible time:)

Quick ADK Getaway!
Publié le 14 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMike and I and our 2 dogs love FPC. The weather was beautiful and we spent all day outside hiking, the dogs swam in the pond and Francis Lake. The cottage is clean and the kitchen is very well appointed. We enjoyed cooking and sitting by the fire pit in the evening. It's my second year here, plan to go back every year! Thank you to Carol and Dan...wonderful hosts!

Wonderful Time in Nature

Great Vacation, Wonderful Property, Fabulous Owners
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWhen you first pull into the property your are amazed on how beautiful it is. Then when you go inside the cottage, you realize how spotlessly clean it is. But the real surprise is when you meet the owners of the property. Carol & Dan are warm, welcoming people who make you feel like old friends. They did everything they could to make our stay relaxing & enjoyable. The cottage is cozy & filled with most of today's modern amenities. Each night we didn't want to go to bed because we were enjoying everything around us, including a great campfire. They even spent one evening with us around the campfire, telling us about all the things they did with the property. When the time to go came, we didn't want to leave, it was just that great of a vacation. If you love the outdoors, make sure you try this property. .

The cottage, as well as it’s location and the property is so great that it would be a shame NOT to share it with others. We are so appreciative that we live 2 miles up from the cottage, and think it would be a shame not to let others experience it too:)
