We got to Breakfast at 9:15 Saturday morning and they did not want to make more eggs or get anymore bread out. Also only one waffle maker working and batter was empty. Multiple people had to ask desk for more.

Staff was nice. It was a short stay, AC in room was not very cool, room faced evening sun. The drain in the bathtub was slow. Carpet could be cleaner, found a french fry on the floor under the desk. Room was quiet. Bed was comfortable.

Not as nice as it could be.
Everything looked nice, and the layout of our room was very nice. The guy working the front desk was very friendly and helpful as much as he could. There were just a lot of problems with the facilities. Our room had 2 TVs but one was useless because it was missing an HDMI cord and they couldn't get to any spares. I also found out that, while all of the TVs were setup to connect to the internet so people could use their streaming services, none of them had actually worked for over two years. Our room had no information sheet or do not disturb sign or anything else like those that you would find in most hotels. They were also out of extra blankets because they were having issues getting linens cleaned. Those are all minor inconveniences though and didn't bother us much. The only problem that bothered us was that there seemed to be an issue with the plumbing or something because there was just a constant sewage smell in the bathroom and in some other areas of the hotel. The smell dissipated some in the .ain part of the room since we kept the bathroom door shut. All in all, the staff was nice and I really got the sense that they were doing what they could but there seems to be systematic issues from a corporate level that were just enough to make us look elsewhere for our next stay in Lubbock.
