Wonderful stay at the Mandarin Lucerne

Dieses Hotel war früher ein Palace; nun ist es in der Mandarine Oriental Kette und dementsprechend hat es die schweizerische Dimension verloren. Gäste kommen aus Asien und Amerika in die Schweiz… Aber hier spricht niemand mehr schweizer Deutsch und die wunderbaren Gemälde der Schweiz sind zum Teil versteckt und sollten, ganz im Gegenteil, den lokalen Charakter zum Ausdruck bringen. Auch im MO Restaurant findet man kaum etwas schweizerisches.
Das Personal ist in der Regel gut, zum Teil sehr gut (Rezeption & Concierge und Valets).

Very much enjoyed our stay. Had a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake. Excellent staff!! Will stay again.
