So, Glad you came back to the Lucky View Lodge again this year! I LOVE to share our little slice of Heaven with people who appreciate the views, nature, peacefulness with all the amenities we supply to make it a little like your own home. Our quiet cabin nestled in the woods on a great fishing lake is open to you anytime. Happy you want to come back again for a 3rd year! Roomy with beautiful lake view
Publié le 31 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed the spaciousness of this property. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and pots/pans. There were several small appliances, which we did not utilize, but they were provided. We enjoyed the access to the lake for fishing, swimming, canoeing and lots of pontoon boat rides.We had an issue with the extra charge for guests over 8, which we noticed in the description has now been updated to state that guests over 8 persons are extra. It was not in the description when we booked. Amy did refund part of our extra person charge which we really appreciate. We had multiple messages via VRBO website which she always responded to. When it was time to check in at 4:00, we still had not received directions for checkin. We called her and she gave us the instructions over the phone. All was well. We had an issue with no power in the kitchen outlets. The stove and refrigerator worked, but not the microwave or any of the outlets. We used extension cords. We called her and left a message on the evening of our first night, but did not hear back from her. When we called the next morning, she apologized and contacted the neighbors who came over and reset the circuit breaker. Everything worked after that. The location is great. It is very close to the golf course and we also enjoyed mini-golf which was about 25 minutes away. We also enjoyed the multiple seating areas outside In summary, we enjoyed our stay and the issues we had were all resolved.

Glad you enjoyed your stay at the Lucky View Lodge. The day before you arrive a message is sent to your inbox on VRBO or texted to your cell number with an access code and instructions. I also give my cell phone and the property managers number as well to call if a guest ever has a problem. Glad you enjoyed all the extras I supply like the pots, pans, silverware, knives, spices, appliances, new stove and refrigerator, new ping pong table, badminton, linens, fire pit, dock, etc. I am so happy you rented a boat too.
Sorry the power went out from the weather and blew a fuse. The weather has been crazy this year. Glad we could fix it so quickly for you. Hope you are able to come back to the Lucky View Lodge again.

Awesome Spot

Even with 11 people we never felt crowded inside or out. It felt like a little private slice of wilderness.Quick and easy access to the grocery stores in town. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

The perfect family getaway.

Loved being close to the water overlooking from the fire pit. Many special memories were made at this place. Thank you for letting us have the opportunity to enjoy with our little family.

Nice place for a multi-generational get-together

The Lucky View Lodge Log Cabin on the lake is the perfect place for a family vacation. It does allow dogs. You just need to specify when booking that you are bringing a dog. Come see for yourself the beauty of the 3 acre private wooded lot on the lake with a fully stocked and remodeled gorgeous log home.

A perfect spot to relax and enjoy family time in a beautiful setting
Publié le 25 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was wonderful. Amy was amazing, very accommodating and accessible. Kitchen was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this property. For families with Toddlers (we had one not quite 2) there were gates, but you may wish to bring one of your own to secure stairway area. Fishing and firepit were so enjoyed by our entire family. Amy deserves Premier Host status!
