Great location to walk to beach
Publié le 9 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved the location, but, the house itself needs a few things "fixed". Kitchen bathroon hot water faucet doesnt work. Living room bathroom faucets too short for sink that is there, hard to wash hands. Front steps and handrailings need repair. Stove's bottom panel hanging off. We loved the location, but the house needs some TLC.

Lynn, sometimes we don't know there is an issue unless our guests tell us. Thank you for letting us know we had some repairs that needed to happen. We have done the maintenance on these issues and always encourage our guest to let us know there is an issue during their stay so we have a chance to make it right.

Great location, historical home
Publié le 25 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWonderfully sandwiched between the beach, marina, and downtown, we could walk anywhere we wanted to go. Cute historical home with the charms and quirks of an older property. We loved it! Good value, easy check in and out. We didn't really need to communicate with the owners bc we had what we needed.
My only observation is that the master bed is a double, not a queen, if that makes a difference. We saw it listed as both in different listings.
Ludington is beautiful and we felt welcome and at home in the Dock House.

Stephanie we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We also want to thank you for pointing out an error we had on our website concerning the beds in the unit. We have updated that. Our VRBO listing is correct with the master bedroom having a queen. Your comments prompted us to measure the bed to be sure. We do appreciate your feedback and hope you can stay with us again.

The Dock House was a perfect location, clean, neat and the owner was very responsive when needed. Everything the description indicated!

Exploring Ludington
Publié le 29 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay. The home is very interesting with some vintage decor. It is in a beautiful setting a few blocks to the beach & the marina. My husband liked watching the Badger come in from WI. I loved walking the neighborhood. All of the crab trees were in bloom-so pretty! Hope to be back.

Great Location
Publié le 20 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis property is ideally located within the city. It was an easy walk to downtown, the city marina, and the city beach and park. The lower part of Dock House is definitely themed for the lake and contained everything we needed. It was just two of us, and although it contained beds for 5, we think it would seem small unless kids made up some of that number. We cooked for most of our meals and there were pots, pans, utensils, and dishes for everything we made. We hope to be back!
