Quiet surroundings
Publié le 11 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed for two nights as a stop gap when we were holidaying in the area.
Although the cabin is by the car park and owners house it still felt private. It was well equipped with coffee, teas, shower gel etc but is very cosy and cramped in the living area. We also felt in places it was looking a bit tired.
Didn’t use the hot tub so can’t comment on that.
Plenty of information sent before arrival. Check in was via a phone call and we never got to meet anyone.
The first part of the track from the main road is awful with massive pot holes, it gets better once you hit the tarmac. It could be the first part does not belong to the property so can’t be made any better but it would help if some of the holes were filled in.
It was certainly a very peaceful place and was lovely hearing the owls at night.

Excellent stay at Rowan Tree Lodge

There were amazing views in the local area and the lodge itself was clean and cosy. We highly recommend staying here if you want a lovely private getaway in the countryside!

The property is close to the main house, which I read in previous reviews but this didn't matter at all as we had full privacy. The lodge is equipped with everything needed for a luxury stay. The whole area is so peaceful , quiet and calm.
I'd return to this place in a heartbeat :)

Mini Honeymoon

Would recommend anyone to stay here, and would live to come back as soon as possible 😊
