Peaceful stay.
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HotelsA beautiful summer's day on arrival. Drinks in the garden. Friendly, helpful staff. Peaceful location with lovely views of the neighbouring cows in the field. Ten minute walk over the river into town with views of the castle. Comfy bed! Good food!

Beautiful building tastefully decorated. Gardens quiet with lovely veranda. High quality ingredients served at breakfast.

Away from the centre of town but very walkable and easy parking. Our cottage room had easy access ; it had newly renovated bathroom but was small , a bit dingy and needed upgrading to be the deluxe room it was advertised to be. Some attention needs to be paid to the small insects attracted by the light to thr cottage door way. The main house may be preferable. The owners is very personable and the food in the restaurant was good.

Food good.
Lounge and dining room need upgrade. Furniture in particular.
Don’t dismiss but wouldn’t hurry back.
