Top class hotel in a great spot
Posted Oct. 5, 2023 on HotelsThe hotel is well positioned along the waterfront and within easy walking distance from the station (using the funicular to come down/up the hill). It has enormous charm and wonderful gardens. The room was terrific and breakfast was a great experience. Overall a wonderful stay in a top class hotel.

We stayed two nights and it was a fantastic place to stay! We loved having drinks on the front patio looking at the lake in the evening. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The best thing was the wonderful breakfast including eggs, ham, cheeses, yogurt, cereal and fresh bread and croissants. It was all very delicious and filling! Next time we are in Lucerne we are definitely going to stay here! Thanks for a great experience!

The room was very hot and we could not get it to cool with AC or windows open. It’s a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff.

First the good—the hotel’s location is fantastic! Easy access to transportation, shopping and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet and had A/C. The bathroom was tiny and there is very little room for toiletries if more than one person is staying in the room. Only after we commented on the lack of coffee service did one show up (the next morning) and the hotel does not provide any additional amenities such as bottled water, shampoo/conditioner, etc. If you are simply looking for a place to sleep and not concerned with any of the rest, this is an okay place to stay.

Great location. Aircon was an absolute winner. Great pool and services. Loved the self service bar for cold drinks.

Great location, nice swimming pool with sunset bar. Very friendly staff provide all require information for the city.
