EXCEPTIONAL stay!!! Trina and Greg were incredibly welcoming and provided great local tips. Their place is a hidden gem - the view from the studio, the hot tub and the patio (with bbq) are unbelievable. From the private beach we were able to see otters, seals, dolphins and porpoises! Conveniently located: 5 min walk to Lund, and close to many hikes and kayak tours… but one could spend their entire days at this place and be very happy! Will definitely come back!
* they have added a full bathroom to the studio, so ignore the previous comments about the bathroom being in the hosts’ house*

September Stay

Chris and Trina were easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make us comfortable, give us recommendations for every activity and provide items we didn’t even know we needed!
Will be booking our return visit soon :)

Outstanding guests!! We so enjoyed meeting and talking to them and would welcome them back in a heart beat. We really hope to see Christie and Mike again. Respectful, spotless and amazing communication. Wish them a world of making amazing memories and fingers crossed, we see them again!

Incredible outside space

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, without intruding on our privacy.
The studio itself was quite small, but it was well equipped and beautifully furnished, especially the bathroom. The views are amazing.
But the best thing about the property was the incredible outside space that was available for our private and exclusive use. In particular we loved the covered gazebo looking out over the strait, which we could use even in the rain. We spent a lot of time out there.
We also used the bbq area and picnic bench. There was a separate deck area with loungers and hot tub, but the unseasonably wet weather stopped us using those.
It has its own access to the beach via a set of steps, and when you get down to the bottom there are sun loungers. We had a lovely swim!
It’s only a 5 minute walk into Lund, with its shop, cafe and bar, and water taxi to Savary Island.
We were very sad to leave, and hope that we might be able to return one day.

Sweet suite by the sea
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful place to relax and enjoy the ocean views and lovely grounds. Great location only a short walk to the boardwalk restaurants and marina at Lund.
Suite is perfect for two and we enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and gazebo immensely. Take the hike down the 100 stairs to the beach to enjoy the gorgeous Lund sunset. It’s worth it! Hosts were very welcoming!

Perfect sister retreat
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayA peaceful and private refuge situated just above delightful Lund. Wake up to birdsong and watch the endless hummingbird show from your own perch above the ocean.
Thoughtful touches like binoculars for wildlife viewing of whales, seals, otters and porpoises! A five minute easy walk to Lund with Nancy's Bakery, Boardwalk Café, Pollen Sweaters and Sassy Mack's ice cream kiosk. Also several artisans within a few minutes walk. Water Taxi to Savary Island and Desolation Sound was easy to arrange and although we didn't get into a kayak this time Terracentric Coastal Adventures is also in the village. We felt right at home thanks to Trina, Chris and their adorable dog Lily. Trina was very responsive to any questions we had and provided lovely guidance on where to swim and hike based on our capabilities. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We look forward to our next visit!

Kim and Kelly were absolutely amazing guests. We loved hearing of their excursions and exploration of our area. So thoughtful, respectful and their zest for adventure and making memories was incredible. We certainly hope to see them again in the future!

Gorgeous place

Lund harbour is an easy walk away, allowing access to the water taxi to Savary Island and exploration tours into Desolation Sound. I had a fabulous time visiting this gorgeous corner of our planet and hope to return.

Chantal was an outstanding guest. Quiet, respectful and left the Studio and property in absolutely immaculate condition. We would highly recommend Chantal and welcome her back at anytime.

I loved that the ocean was right there.
Large windows allowed me to clearly see the ocean and the binoculars the owners lent me I was able to see porpoises and harber seals, there were so many beautiful humming birds and many other kinds of birds including many eagles every day right in front of our studio window.
We brought our own kayaks and really enjoyed kayaking right there, we even went across to the island on the other side an easy 45 minute paddle.
The studio was fantastic and very tastefully decorated.
The bed was very comfortable.
We loved the gazebo on one landing to relax outside overlooking the ocean and beautiful landscape around.
As well as the hot tub which is also overlooking the ocean and there is no light pollution so you can sky watch if you can stay up long enough which I only managed one of the 9 days there we were so busy playing hard and falling asleep early in exhaustion.
Chris and Trina are absolutely amazing hosts/owners and we're very accommodating should we need anything.
I don't hesitate to recommend this beautiful place to stay at.
