Sweet space, great location

Great location with design issues
Publié le 24 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayLunenburg is wonderful and the location of the Loft is perfect - convenient to everything. The lock system only worked if we pressed our fingers on it and swiped upwards. The bathroom design is awkward - particularly for a MacKay Lyons designed property. The sink is very small and the faucet projects 1/2 way into it. The toilet paper dispenser is behind you and cramped. The shower enclosure should be longer so water doesn’t get on the floor. The fan doesn’t work well. Half of the furniture is modern, the rest is old fashioned. Some of the windows don’t open. We kept banging our toes and calves on the bed frame. Overall - clean, nice kitchen (toe kick missing in one spot), great location, awkward design issues.

Frustrating

Very frustrating keypad and no key in the lockbox upon arrival, it was in the apartment when we finally got in. Very hot in the apartment and difficult to figure out how to turn the heat down. We couldn't get the windows open, it was 24 celsius in the middle of the night.
No counter space or storage in the bathroom.

Great location
Publié le 16 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis rental was a great for a place to stay and explore Lunenburg. Super close to lots of restaurants and sightseeing. It was perfect for my husband and I.
Keep in mind this unit does not have AC and we were there on a particularly hot weekend so it was hard to get the place to cool down. We were not able to figure out how to open the windows, which we were told could open so maybe someone else can have better luck with that. Didn’t ruin the trip, but definitely worth noting if you’re sensitive to this.
There was a bit of miscommunication on the listing amenities that I’m told will be corrected. Otherwise recommend staying here and we would return!

Tidy space located near all businesses

An extraordinary warm week; difficult to cool down the unit, and some street noise-----overall a place to which we will return.

I could live here!
