Accueil très sympathique. Les chambres sont typiques d un motel. Séjour très agréable dans ce motel de campagne. Je recommande pour un séjour sans prétention mais avec plein de charme américain.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The kids loved the outdoor pool. It is located a few minutes from Luray Caverns.

Older motel close to Park
Publié le 29 août 2024 sur HotelsThis basic, older motel was clean and mostly in good repair - there was a little peeling paint in the bathroom. Walls are thin, I could clearly hear the neighbors, along with both highway and railroad noise. But it’s a good value and its proximity to Shenandoah National Park is a plus.

Hi Mark. Thanks for the feedback, we will look into the paint. We are an older motel (built in the 40's/50's) so yes the walls a thin for some of the rooms. We hope overall you had a good stay and would come again if in the area!

Great stay near the entrance of the National park.
Only WiFi issues that have difficulty to access on.

Hi Tsuyoshi. Good to see that overall you had a great stay! Thanks for the feed back, our Wifi currently is spotty in some of the rooms, especially with the certain phone carriers. We hope to get that improved in the near future.

Warning: strong perfume smell
Publié le 23 août 2024 sur HotelsThis is an old-fashioned type motel in quiet and beautiful setting. The bed was comfortable. We were primarily hiking in the national park during the day so the most important thing was being able to sleep well.
On the downside, the floors were filthy as evidenced by the bottom of our socks that turned dark gray from walking across the floor. The shower curtain bar was rusty. The shower dripped and the toilet ran most of the time. Attempts to stop both were unsuccessful. Most bothersome though was the product that was used on the bathroom floor before our arrival. It had a strong perfume smell that lingered through our 4 day stay despite having the windows and door open with the fan running to try to clear it. The product seemed to be a floor wax as the bathroom floor was extremely slippery when we arrived.

Hi. We are happy to hear that your bed was comfortable and you enjoyed hiking in the Shenandoah National Park. Thank you for the feedback on some other concerns you had, we did a check in the room and quickly resolved the toilet issue. We are sorry to hear the smell of the sanitization items we use were not to your liking. We use mild detergents on our bathroom floors (not wax) for sanitizing the room. We do a full clean of rooms after each guest departure but will provide in house services during guest stay upon request so that we honor our guest privacy. Again we are sorry to hear that you had some concerns with your room.
