River Relaxation
Publié le 10 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our long weekend stay over July 4th at this lovely waterfront cottage. The screened porch was the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening night cap and the kitchen was well equipped to cook in. Fyi, no wifi and our Verizon cell service was essentially non existent, so come prepared to be offline until you head in to town.

Amazing spot!

This place was so amazing with absolutely beautiful view of the river, my city wife was so awestruck by this place she immediately started searching for a place for sale in the general area. I got a very strong feeling we’ll be doing another stay at this awesome place later this year.

New Years Weekend Getaway
Publié le 3 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayCheck-in was a breeze. The heat was on when we got there, fresh towels, linen, and a fully equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed to cook. We enjoyed using the outdoor charcoal grill for our New Years Eve feast. Our dog loved sniffing around and going down to the river. I wish it would have been warm enough to sit on the screened in porch, it was lovely! Very cozy, we will be back to enjoy it in the warmer months!

Lovely cabin!
Publié le 6 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe arrived after dark and did miss the sign so we found it on the way back. It just added to our adventure! The place was very clean and and the heat was on and waiting for us! The view from the porch is to die for, the sound of the gentle flowing river was perfect for our girls getaway. We had hoped for WiFi since there’s zero cell signal, just to check in with our kids back home. That’s the only thing I might suggest. The break from phones ringing was welcome though. We had a great time, went hiking at Little Devils Stairs and highly recommend! I will be renting this place again!
