Our 2200+ sq ft house boasts unbeatable panoramic views of the majestic Shenandoah River with private riverfront access only a few feet away. Our section of the river is stunning, stretching about 75 feet wide and is literally just a few steps away from the house!

Conveniently located, this family-friendly relaxing retreat is 20 minutes from downtown Luray and within 30 mins to all major attractions - Shenandoah Natl. Park (Thornton Gap), Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns, etc. For a nearby landmark, it is located approximately 3 minutes away by car from Shenandoah River Outfitters (6502 S Page Valley Rd, Luray, VA 22835).

Included: all basic amenities, coffee/tea K-cup, brand new indoor slippers, towels, hotel-quality toiletries, fast Starlink Wi-Fi (one of the few properties in the area to have this). We also provide free access to streaming TV (Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, and Hulu) as well as firewood for the fire pit.

Shiloh Lodge is situated just a few feet away from the shores of the Shenandoah River, giving you an unparalleled close-up and panoramic view of the beautiful river. Custom built steps provide easy, private access into the waters. The fire pit in the backyard is situated right along the river bank. Firewood is provided for free.

The house has a wrap-around deck which faces towards the river. An outdoor propane grill is provided for BBQs, which can be enjoyed at our outdoor dining table along with a chaise lounge set. A motorized retractable awning provides great shade when it gets too sunny out.

★ Great Room
The Great Room is the perfect gathering place for families and friends alike and includes both the living room and the dining area. Full length glass sliding doors line the side of the room facing the river and provides panoramic views of the Shenandoah from the inside. Four rocking chairs are provided for your use to enjoy the view.

Comfortable sofa and couches surround the mantle piece which contains a gas fireplace next to a large 65" Samsung 4K UHD TV. Netflix, HBO-Max, Hulu, and Disney+ are provided for free. On rainy days, you can enjoy quiet reading from our library collection, yoga, or play a wide selection of provided board games.

★ Kitchen
For those who like to cook, the open kitchen comes fully equipped with a wide assortment of pots and pans, including a griddle, waffle maker, mixer, blender, and bakeware. For coffee/tea lovers, we have a Keurig K-Duo coffee maker (K pods provided) as well as stove-top espresso, french press, and tea kettles.

⦿ No smoking inside or within 10 feet of the house outside. If any of your guests smoke inside the house you will be charged a $750 Ozone cleaning fee.
⦿ No parties or events. If you host a party or event with unregistered day or overnight guests you will be charged $100 per guest, a $600 additional cleaning fee, and will be evicted immediately.
⦿ No pets allowed. Sorry. We have allergies and can't have pets in the house. If you bring a pet you will be charged $500.00 and an additional $250.00 ozone and cleaning fee.
⦿ Brand new spa-qualify slippers for your party are provided for indoor use. Please leave your shoes in the shoe trays near the door.
⦿ Critters: Nestled in nature, the home may occasionally attract harmless bugs like stink bugs. Please keep doors and windows closed to help minimize their visits.

Great family vacation
A home away from home! We had a fabulous stay - doing day hikes in the national park (Thornton Gap is an easy 30min drive) and spending family time cooking, playing games in the evenings. We appreciated all the nice details Diana arranged for our stay. So glad we chose this location!

Amazing location, beautiful views, fantastic hosts.
We had the best time at Shiloh Lodge, the location and house are both fantastic. The view of the river can't be beat, and the house is beautiful. I worked from the house a bit, and the Starlink worked flawlessly. Everyone was comfortable and really enjoyed disconnecting and being out with Nature. The river doesn't really get deep, so the kids were able to stand up and explore just about the entire way across, canoeing and kayaking was enjoyable, and we got some fishing in too! Their recommendations for activities and restaurants were great as well, we used a handful of them and they were always spot on. Really glad we chose this house and location! Thanks Diana!

The Perfect Place
This is the second time we have stayed at Shiloh Lodge. We have stayed at many different cabins along this stretch of the river and Shiloh is definitely one of the nicest. It is clean, well decorated and the location on the river can't be beat. Diana goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is as perfect as it can get. Beautiful home and hostess was very responsive. The home omitted nothing in providing a complete pleasurable experience especially in the kitchen. When we got there our water was turned off, which threw me in a panic mode, but my hvac son soon corrected that situation. The hostess did get back to us right away and then we turned it on according to her instructions. Once we got familiar with the road leading up to the house the drive did not seem as far away from scenic sites. A suggestion I would make is to get a larger garbage can. Upon our arrival there was already trash in the can. We put in two bags of trash and could not get the lid down. We did take home all the recyclable trash instead of dropping in off at the given overflow site which was our decision on saving time. The Smiths have a beautiful home and we thank them for sharing it with us. I would definitely want to come back and spend a longer time.

Easter Sunday in Luray
Despite having some rain during our stay we really took advantage of the riverfront location. Lots of fishing (no catching as it was pretty early in the season). Kayak and canoes were stored in an area that was easily accessible. We had a hike in mind, but could not access the road due to damage from recent fires. The dry fire wood supply was very helpful. We did not cook much, but I can assure you that the kitchen is stocked with anything you could possibly need. Top notch location! We will definitely return.

LURAY HOLIDAY (family reunion)
We stayed Dec 26-29. One day it rained so we went to Luray Caverns, which was beautiful. Weather was on our side the rest of the stay, we only had to wear light-weight jackets. If fog or clouds are thick, I recommend arriving during daylight. Large living area was a must and was perfect for our family of 6 (4 adult children) member family reunion. Plenty of indoor games to play. We prepared all of our meals at the house. (To you city folk - shop BEFORE you arrive at Walmart/Food Lion in Luray). We enjoyed the outdoor grill and the firepit for s'mores. Love having the option of using the rollaway beds, if anyone is a loud snorer. The river was peaceful for canoes and kayaks that were provided and were a great fun! This location checked all of our boxes and then some!

Wonderful Christmas Weekend
I stayed at Diana’s place over the long Christmas Weekend with family and friends visiting from France. We all loved the house, that is spacious, clean, perfect for spending time together inside and outside. We enjoyed the fire outside, with the beautiful water and nature view. It’s close to Shenandoah National Park, where we went for a hike, as well as close enough to convenience stores, so you can really find everything you need. Diana, our host, provided all the necessary information ahead of our arrival and was very responsive throughout our stay. I can only recommend this place.

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway
We had a great Thanksgiving week staying at Shiloh Lodge! There were 8 of us ranging from 10-73 years old. Highlights: -beautiful views -large, well-stocked kitchen for cooking and eating in -very comfortable beds and clean bedrooms -very spacious and plenty of seating for everyone -fast wifi and streaming services for watching movies -lots of fun outdoor space, loved the canoes and lifejackets! -host was very friendly, helpful, attentive, with easy contactless check in Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation. There was no cell service, and the water does smell of sulfur. But that is clear in the listing and with their provided water filter it tasted fine to drink. It did not take away any of our enjoyment of our visit. Thanks Diana for a wonderful stay!
