Arrived at the hotel to be told we didn't have a booking and they had.not been on your books for 4 yrs Advise by owner and taxi driver that it was not safe for us to stay in the area as it was the poorest part of town We had to find alternate accommodation late in the afternoon at a cost of over $600,this was a very stressful situation for 2 females I have used Expedia several times in the past with no problems I feel that i should be re embursed for out of pocket expenses

The property did not have a booking for us. We did not stay there. Expedia has been notified and are chasing up a refund of our payment. I will give a further assessment of Expedia’s performance once I have received a refund
