the hotel is 5.4 miles from downtown. THe country was experiencing Load Shedding (Power outages) so they said they had a back up system, but could only turn it on, if we committted.
Moved to upscale hotel, and even with their back up system... no aircon would go on, even with the back up.
Stoneridge would have been worse, and with blackouts all around given its distance outside the city.

Thank you for your review regarding Load shedding that has unfortunately become worse in the country in certain times power goes off for more than 8 hours. however to avoid overworking our generators we have had to switch it off every after 3 hours particularly during the day. The lovely apartments are located out of the very busy town centre and suitable for those loving peaceful moments, quiet getaways, lovely fresh air breeze.
We are busy incorporating solar systems in our apartments that would be more sustainable and much cleaner environmentally.
So sorry for experiencing load-shedding that has affected most industries in the country and we are hoping the situation gets better.

Was extremely pleased. Hilary was very accommodating with the late reservation and checkin. The borehole wasn’t working so the taps were dry but he made sure we had all the water we needed on hand and even offered us late checkout so the taps would be working. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
