We stayed within the main lodge, in a hot tub suite. All of the rooms have balconies toward the outdoor pool, which was noisy and offered no privacy. The suite had a nice kitchen area but, otherwise, the space was very outdated and well-used. The bed mattress needs replacing - we both rolled toward the middle all night. Our room had a coffee maker but no coffee. We were told that complementary coffee would be available at the main lodge but it was out of order. The restaurant was closed both nights of our stay. We chose Caribou due to its proximity to the Superior Hiking Trail, which was great! BTW, the "shuttle" mentioned as a service is only for winter shuttles to the adjacent ski hills and not to the hiking trails.

While our restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, there are several dining options in the surrounding area. These should have been listed in the welcome letter you received at check-in.
