We stayed in room 7. It was very nice although I think a great benefit would be to have a microwave in this room. The main heat hadn’t been turned on yet but there was a space heater that kept the room perfect! We had a really nice small deck that looked out onto Lake Superior. You could see the water from our room! Loved all the woodwork in the room. Made it very cozy! Pet friendly!!

Sunrise view
Publié le 4 oct. 2024 sur HotelsWe did the Circle tour and Solbakkens was our last night on the road. The resort is a cabin style with a lodge where you can use the spa, play pool, do a puzzle or read and relax. Bed was comfortable but a bit squeaky. Loved the lakefront view of Lake Superior in the morning! No breakfast and we went over to nearby ski resort for supper.

The property and staff were excellent, well above average. Very nice people. With regard to Expedia, I would not recommend using them. Expedia has caused us reservation issues twice this year.
