Perfect getaway for our anniversary

It has an old cabin look, but had all the updates and amenities to make it very comfortable and functional. The setting right on the Lake Superior shoreline was spectacular! We loved just sitting on the deck in the comfortable Adirondack chairs and just taking in the view!

Another week in paradise

Publié le 3 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayPainted Rock was delightful. I loved the simplicity of the decor, and the thoughtfulness that went into each amenity.
There were so many details that kept adding to the stay: wool blankets, fireplace, the kitchen appliances (super fun!), the tea, the VIEWS of the water, the privacy of the location (neighbors are nearby but not visible), the kitchen well-supplied (but simply) with tools, sharp knives to work with!, beautiful and functional tub/shower (great water pressure!), and the hummingbird feeder.
The property is well cared for and maintained.
We really enjoyed our stay - would definitely choose Painted Rock again for an anniversary getaway!

Friends get away
Publié le 29 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful weekend at Painted Rock! It was the perfect location for us! It had everything we needed and was super cozy with the fireplace, despite the gale force winds on the lake!! We would definitely stay again!
