This guesthouse is in a quiet and peaceful setting with beautiful views of the nearby temple complex and quaint village life.
However this place has many drawbacks. First of all it is very hard to find; no taxi driver knows where it is and there isn’t even a sign. Second, we had two rooms and neither shower worked. You hear ever sound from other guests coming and going and lastly, the staff tried to charge us 1,300 EGP for dinner. There are 2 decent restaurants you can walk to but no other facilities nearby. I would think again about staying here.

From the wonderful staff and thoughtful decor, to the delicious meals and immersion in rural nature, this hotel was unbeatable! We loved watching tiny birds visit the breakfast area and hot air balloons rising near the mountains at sunrise. This hotel is quiet and free from the stress of downtown Luxor. It’s within walking/cycling distance of all of the monuments you want to see on the west bank (Valley of the Kings & Queens, Ramesseum, Medinet Habu) so this saves you time and money getting around. Slow down and enjoy Egypt here! And if you have extra time, sign up for the 5-day luxury Nile cruise with the owners of Beit Sabee. The dahabiyas (boats) are relatively small, very glamorous and serve the best food! We are telling everyone about our maginificent experience with this guest house. A+++

The hotel is found close to all of the West Bank historical site. Very safe and very very quiet. The cozy and traditional style guesthouse is something of the movies. The staff goes beyond measures to please you. The traditional cooked meals were more than enough, including the breakfast. WiFi is available, there’s no televisions but you don’t need it ...

Beautiful, Egyptian guesthouse in peaceful area on the west bank by Medinet Habu temple. Not a lot within walking distance, but very convenient to the west bank sights and lovely, big rooms, good food and service.

In a little village on the West Bank near Luxor, this property is a gem and an oasis of quiet. The innkeeper Rgba is lovely, attentive and full of good advice, his colleague Ahmed great too. Following the chaos of Cairo, this was welcome respite - an ideal base to the nearby sites. After a day's touring relax on the rooftop with a beer and watch the sun go down. Home made food is fabulous. This is a real taste of rural Egypt. The biggest source of noise is bird song, (and the call to prayer).
