What a lovely little inn. The room was perfect. The staff was friendly. It was New England charm at its finest. The inn keeper had celiac like my daughter so for the first time we could eat breakfast! I can’t say enough good things about this inn. Oh and the inn dogs were the icing on the cake.

Everyone I met on the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Publié le 8 juill. 2024 sur HotelsDowd’s is a beautiful historic building situated right on the Common of Lyme, New Hampshire. Walking distance to Post Office, Italian restaurant, Country store. It’s like a postcard.
Our stay was like visiting friends. We’ve stayed here twice. Breakfast offerings were diverse and delicious. We’ll be back!

Our room was very comfortable and well maintained. The upstairs water pressure was a little weak, but we were still able to shower, etc. without a problem. There were several choices for the included breakfast, which also include gluten free/celiac friendly options, which I appreciated. We are not first time guests and will stay again if in the area.

The inn is in a beautiful, quiet setting. It was convenient before the bridge construction started but is less so now. It also used to have a nice tavern but that’s closed. The rooms are clean but not at all fancy. The water pressure in the shower was non-existent but the included breakfast was good. I hope they can put some more money into it and stay afloat.
