Excellent restaurant, menu was diverse and the food well cooked and presented.

Quirky
Publié le 20 oct. 2024 sur HotelsLovely quirky place. Super bar and dining room. Loved the view, the uneven floor in our room, the quaint stairs, the helpful staff. The shower was wonderful. The only negative is that the bed was too narrow. I think it was a basic double and we're used to having king or superking when we stay in a hotel. Not massively important, and it didn't spoil our stay, but would have liked a vegan full English breakfast option. Hope to stay again in the future.

Anniversary break
Publié le 3 sept. 2024 sur HotelsWe booked a two night stay at the Rising Sun. Our room was lovely, very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable & bath was incredible, well worth a soak. The food was very nice, although quite expensive if I am honest, I would expect to pay prices like that in a restaurant, not a pub. The staff were very friendly, although appeared under pressure at times.
