Fantastic stay and view @ Nubia Luxury Camp!
Publié le 9 déc. 2018 sur HotelsNubia camp was right in the middle of the sand dunes. We were surrounded with the beautiful sand dunes @ Erg Chigaga, much higher and stunning than @ Erg Chebbi. FANTASTIC view! In the night, you can view the beautiful night sky full of STARS just sitting on the chairs placed outside our camp. It is the best day of our entire Morocco trip. In addition, delicious and pipping hot dinner and breakfast was served. Shower was also hot. Don't miss Nubia Luxury Camp if you are to visit Erg Chigaga!

Desert tent - highlight of trip
Publié le 12 oct. 2018 sur HotelsThis stay was the highlight of 15 days trip in Morocco. It does take some time to get to the camp (2 hours+ from M’Hamid). Lahcen at the camp was wonderful and took really good care of us the entire time. Mohamed, the camp manager also contacted us prior to the stay and gave very detailed instructions for us to arrive. We had 2 tents and there was one other couple so total of 3 tents were occupied for the night we were there so it didn’t feel cramped at all and the service for both dinner and breakfast were excellent and prompt. We arrived around 6pm to camp (a bit later than anticipated since our 4x4 got stuck in the sand, but locals came out to help dig us out and made it part of the experience as well). We had a camel ride into the sunset to Erg Changga with no one else around was amazing with our camel guide. After dinner, sitting by the camp fire and looking up at the entire Milky Way was inspiring and chatting with the crew was fun. They also entertained us with local music as well. Overall, highly recommended the entire experience and wish we had booked 2 nights.
P.S. due to the heavy rain (yes the rare occurrence) the day before we arrived, it bred some flies which were quite annoying.
