Un domaine énorme, hotel agréable.

beautiful building, management could be better

The staff is hardworking but it is clear that they are not well trained and the management is not organising as they should. Because we came with a dog we were put in a very small room far away from the main building.The possibilities to walk the dog not on a lead were not there, as we would have expected in a place in the middele of the countryside. It also seems that a lot of Brittish cheap holliday seekers like this hotel. The tattoolevel was quite high.

Reception was busy when i arrived, no clear instructions where lifts were or how to get to my room, my mobility isnt great so not helpful with the hike and stairs. Lifts should be sign posted alot better so easier to find. Not enough condiments in room, no water, and no room service. Room was clean though but expected more from a 4 star hotel. Surroundings and building were lovely though

Hotel is attached to one of my favorite golf courses in England. After playing golf, I spent the night at the hotel prior to my flight from Manchester the next morning.

Very bad stay.
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HotelsWhen booking, there is no mention of an additional fee for the spa and the pool. This was the only reason I booked this hotel. You will receive an email AFTER you have booked and paid, stating the additional fees. This is entrapment.
The single room is not what is clearly shown in the pictures. I was put into a old, basic and minimal room. The photos only show the window of the room on the booking page. Again, this is entrapment. The 'nicer' room is in full view.
The greeting was very rude. I was given no information, no directions (which was very much needed in this poorly laid out hotel woth no clear signage. The lack of information caused A LOT of inconveince, walking around in torrential rain.
The food at the bar was very expensive. £17 for what was pretty much a microwave meal and £7.75 for a pint of larger.
Don't be fooled by the nice pictures. Its dated, expensive, and lots of hidden costs.

Avoid. Filthy outdated hotel. Cobwebs on ceiling. Complained twice, nothing was done. No room service. Absoloutley awful experience. Wont be returning.
