Médiocre et très déçus.

Chambre demandée au calme pas disponible. En échange nous avions eu une chambre avec 2 lits. La gérante nous a bien conseillé pour la navette pour le Machu-Picchu et son prix (14 USD/p!!!), les horaires, et a envoyé un employé pour venir nous chercher depuis la gare. La chambre n'est pas du tout comme sur la photo. C'est situé sur la rue avec plein de restos, de boutiques attrape-touristes et des massages. A prendre seulement pour UNE nuit et en dépannage.

estimado se le recogía en la estación para llevarlos al establecimiento también se le acompaño a la estación de buses para comprar sus ticket, no quiso la habitación que se le designo. se les ayudo con las maletas. prácticamente le ayudamos.

La luz del baño no funcionaba. Y nunca me conecto el wifi. El hotel pesimo, no lo recomiendo.

This hostal is very well maintained and staff is extremely accommodating. I had lost my Visa card and I was able to pay for the stay via PayPal into front desk lady’s account, (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) and the next day I had the breakfast and went to Machu Picchu. When I got back from Machu Picchu I went back to the hostal to take advantage of their laundry service and while I waited I had a very pleasant exchange with the lovely Thalia about Peru and the various attractions and must-see sights. Thalia taught me a lot I was very impressed. Thank you everyone at New Day Hostal I will be back for sure!

Péssimo estabelecimento e serviço

Hotel não é ruim, porém há alguns problemas de gestão. A internet não funcionava no quarto; a chave do quarto não foi entregue a mim (haviam perdido a chave principal e foram atrás da chave reserva para me entregar). Fomos tomar o café da manhã as 0800 hs e já não tinha quase nada, nem café. Os dois funcionários presentes nem se incomodaram e não procuraram verificar se algo estava faltando. Demora imensa para reposição, e numa quantidade insuficiente para 4 adultos. Funcionários mal treinados e que não sabem lidar com turistas

Very friendly and helpful. Staff David was super nice. He walked us to the bus station and to ticket office to buy the tickets to Machu Picchu.

sucio, hubo que protestar para que nos pusieran el desayuno que estaba incluido. bastante ruidoso.

First, the hotel name is not correct. There is no 'New Day Inn Mapi'. The actual hotel name is 'New Day Hostel'. We were walking uphill with luggage all over the town trying to find the hotel and wasted precious time. Overall a terrible experience.

The best thing about the New Day Inn Mapi was they let us check in when we got there about 9 am, even though they couldn't find any record of our reservation. From the outside, it doesn't look bad, but once in there was a strip of black mold on the wall, the place smelled musty, and bed sheets that seemed as if others had slept there and hadn't been washed. There were no towels folded up like swans like you see in the photo. They did provide towels once we asked.

My first impressions were not good. They contacted us immediately after the reservation about our train arrival time so that they would meet us at the train station to walk us to the property. They did not show up. Finding the place was a little difficult because the name of the property at the site location is New Day Hostal, not New Day Inn. Then they checked us into a room, which might be adequately described as a closet. About five minutes later, they knocked on the door to say that they had made a mistake and had given us the wrong room as Expedia customers. We were thankful for the room improvement, though we were not pleased with the property overall. The pictures show a nice, simple room. Our room could have used a coat of paint (or two), and we certainly didn't need a room that could sleep four in beds! The breakfast was very basic. Nothing special. Also, it is peaceful after about midnight. Seems that there might be a curfew around that time. Our room had a window to the walking street in front of the hotel, which might have made it louder than other rooms. It was not quiet until midnight. In all honesty, this was not a great stay. Then again, I did not pay much. Maybe I should have known!
