I travel for work, this year alone I have stayed in atleast 60 different hotels.
This was the worst place I've booked, Wotif handed the booking to another company then another company after that, the property managers was a business called Airstrip, they left me instructions on how to obtain a key from across the street in a random set of safes.
I got the key, headed to the room and the key didn’t even work, I had to ask the reception team at the hotel to help me out (even though they have nothing to do with the booking). Once I gained access I entered the room and realised it was not properly cleaned, there was a filthy mug with dried coffee and a dead fly in it, there was also a plate covered in the remains of a dinner from a few days prior, I am talking absolutely filthy. There was coffee grounds all over the floor infront of the fridge and the bathroom was grimy and unkept.
I contacted AirTrip and after 5 calls and 2hrs and multiple excuses I decided to demand a refund on the room and booked a seperate room directly with the hotel.
5 days later I am still yet to receive my refund. This whole property and the organisation behind it was absolutely diabolical. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
