Hotel situé proche du Queens parc, parfait pour un jogging matinal, mais excentré du centre ville de Mackay (prononcer Mac Caille) pour le moindre restaurant. Le petit déjeuner buffet est à 10 AUD, et il faudra débourser un peu plus pour l'améliorer. Par contre le personnel aimable saura vous renseigner.

Rénové, propre, bien équipé mais manque le grille pain pour le déjeuner.

Our room was comfortable & contained everything we needed. It was good to have on-site dinner & breakfast available. The MAJOR BONUS for us was the EV charging available on-site (currently free for customers & suitable for non-tesla EVs) - very much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.😊

I very much enjoyed my stay. The staff were amazing, very friendly and very helpful. The food was great too, and service with a smile. Nice room, quiet with a little garden attached to the room overlooking the mangroves. I would definitely stay again. Thank you 😊

The room was well appointed however there were a few issues to mention: 1) The bathroom door handle came off and was not installed properly (Poor quality workmanship). 2) The TV remote was not working properly, and I could not lower the volume (no physical button on the TV either) and there was no way you can turn the TV off with the bright white screen staying on (you have to turn off the switch at the power point). 3) TV reception was horrible and all channels were freezing constantly. 4) The shower was very powerful and the spout sprays water outside the tub. 5) There is no room service on a Sunday. I asked for my room to be made up and the cleaning staff said no. They did give me a fresh set of towels. 6) The pictures on Wotif are deceiving. There are no push bikes to use nor is there a courtesy bus available. If you don't have your own car, then you will have to walk 30 minutes to the CBD or hire an e-scooter or Uber or Taxi.

I wanted to bring to your attention as spending nearly $600 dollars on accommodation I was expecting a bit more than what we received, when arriving to check in no run down was provided about the amenities instead the receptionist just provided myself with a piece of paper with limited details and my room key and went back to their phone call, I would’ve liked to have received more information about the dining details and that room service is provided however, it had to be done at reception which defeats the purpose in my opinion. The room was not clean and stunk of mildew, the glass on the balcony was filthy, the bathroom had visible water damage the bathroom door could not be shut and the shower had residue and mould all over it and was not cleaned properly, It was also to my understanding the room would be cleaned each day and it wasn’t, I can see the only one day someone had entered our room and only changed the towels and we did have a dirty bowl sitting on the bench I could see it had been accidentally dropped but put back and the remaining sauce that was in the bowl was spilt on the floor and left there the whole day until we returned that evening. I also found it concerning that all the dirty and ‘clean linen and towels’ were sitting out in the open air in the car park exposed to the elements for days and The tv remote needs replacing as it barely worked.
