Property was clean and safe. All 3 beds were super old, and you can feel the springs, which was not comfortable. Breakfast was just a couple of cereal packets and some toast.

We booked a ‘superior’ room sadly the room smelt musty, the toilet had dirty stains and constantly leaked, There were ants in the kettle, bed desperately needs replacing. Only One 600ml water bottle in family room
We had one blanket to share between beds.
Breakfast presentation very underwhelming . Had to climb a secured box to get into shower/bathtub.

Breakfast was very poor,
The bed only has a thin sheet in the middle of winter.
The reverse cycle A/C heater trips out leaving you cold all night.

Wotif.com stated i was getting a queen and 2 twin beds but only got the queen and 2 singles.

Property was tired and needed general maintenance. Liked the continental breakfast
included in the price (basic but adequate) was very quiet!

The motel rooms are dated and run down,need renovating. Paint peeling in bathroom, usual mouldy joins in shower. Noisy fridge, carpet lifting.The beds are old and very uncomfortable, one double sagged to the middle the other hard as a rock.The front rooms (which ours was a family room)are right on main road and in the flight path for the airport. Have stayed at other motels on the same road but this has been the worst one.

Rooms a bit dated, but handy location and staff very helpful. We quite regularly stay here when in town

One night in Mackay

I have stayed at this hotel for the past 8 years and this was the first time that I was not instructed to grab my breakfast on check in. The hotel was roomy and comfortable but is dated and needs some TLC.
