The room had a very musty smell. The toilet bowl was dirty.
It was late when we checked in, so we didn’t bother trying to move. You get what you paid for, was my husbands response.

This was a good hotel, good experience for the price. Very close to downtown mackinaw.

Older property but it was very clean. Staff were very friendly.

The property was very dismal and unwelcoming. The housekeeping staff had left a mop and cleaning products along a ledge near our room that we had to pass by each time we left or returned to our room. They were still there the next morning. Beds had only a thin bed spread covering them and no additional blankets. We shared a bed and used the bedspread off of the other bed to keep us warm through the night.The breakfast wasn’t worth considering and the coffee tasted like instant. Very grim indeed.

The floor was very dirty and gritty in the room and the bathroom floor was disgusting. There was also long black hairs in the bath tub and on some towels.

Room was big. Extra chairs in ours. That was nice. Large pool was great. A little cold on our first swim, but next day the water was warmer. No protein options for breakfast. Cereal, oatmeal, bagels and strong coffee. We enjoyed our stay.

Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HotelsI won't stay here again. Tub was dirty and leaked, bed broke when my daughter (180 lbs) climbed, not jumped, in. Neighboring rooms were smoking outside and the smell leaked into the rooms. The indoor pool was absolutely cold and dirty. Nothing that the staff could do correct any of the issues because the issues were all because the property isn't upkept properly. Properly needs a couple $100k investment to make it worth the price again.

Lighting was too dim. The lights over the coffee did not work. Took a long time before we had hot water. Carpet definitely needed cleaning. Towels and bedding appeared clean.
