Publié le 15 août 2017 sur HotelsYou get what you pay for. Cozy motel with vue on lake and bridge. Went for a swim directly from the motel 'beach'. Toom smelled strongly of bleach (it's clean, I guess!) Someone else's towel was still in the washroom. And so many bugs!!! Dozens of flies (from the lake???) A couple of spiders. Nothing bit us but there were tons of them on the ceiling, in washroom? Close to lamps. They should leave a fly swatter in the room. Breakfast was quite basic (oatmeal, toast, bagels) and there was no milk for coffee, just powdered creamer. Not super impressed with the motel but it is what we expected for the price. Ladies at reception were helpful in giving us info abouy town and ferries. Buy your tickets for the ferries from them.

Loved ut brand new remodeled room the lake view was worth the extra $ and the staff are all great ill be returning next summer for sure

Don't let the outside scare you away
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HotelsSo from the outside i was very scared to go in. The wood was all broken and there was dirt all over the front of the building. Our room had a private entrance that went upstairs to our own door. Upon entering the staircase there were cobwebs and bugs all over the box for the fire extinguisher, upong going up stairs the light ficture on the ceiling was the same cobwebs and spiders and bugs, when i went inside it was a different story. The entire room and been redone with new wood planks and new flooring, the furniture was old and could use a replacement, and the bed was super hard. My husband and i both have back problems so it was a hard couple nights sleep.
The bathroom vent fan didnt work it had a loud squeaking sound so we had to turn it off, the window in the bathroom had cobwebs in it also.
But other than those couple things it was a nice room and i would stay again, if i could get the same room, just have to bring a bed roll to make the bed more comfortable.

This hotel was quite old and in need of a proper renovation. The furnishings were old and there was no central air conditioning.

This motel was really nice. The room were very neat and clean. The only thing I didn't care for was the closeness between the toliet and bathtub. But over all I can give it a 5 star rating

We really enjoyed our room. The beds were comfortable. We had a nice view of the bridge, and the hotel is so close to everything in Mackinaw City.

Cozy property. Monique was patient and helpful. The other lady at the front desk was helpful too she gave me a fudge it was delicious.

The motel checkin is at the hotel next door as well as the ice machine. Also the screen on the balcony had blue tape holding it together and it was hard to slide. The bathroom had no stopper for the tub, mold growing on the balcony. There were fire pits but no wood to use. Finally, trash everywhere by the beach as well as in ft of the porch( cigarette butts, alcohol bottle tops ect

Was very clean and quiet. For us a larger wastebasket would have been nice. Balcony was small and had only 1 chair, but was very relaxing and had a great view of the bridge
