The building is not in good conditions, broken column, missing clean curtains and maintenance, smell in the building was moldy/musty. We finally decided not to stay and filed a complaint

I am honestly flabbergasted at this review. A storm recently caused damage to one of our columns and it is in the process of being repaired, which takes time with historic architecture. When you arrived, you immediately stated that it wasn't what you were expecting (even though we confirmed the photos were accurate) and you did not wish to stay, that it was nothing "personal", you just didn't realize it was "an old house". We even let you use your WiFi to find something more to your taste. We left it on what we thought were good terms. You didn't even see your room before making this decision. Obviously, your opinion is not shared, as evidenced by our many excellent reviews. I wish you all the best and hope you got home safely.

The breakfast was divine. The most comfortable bed I ever slept in. And they served a really nice bourbon from a crystal decanter in the evening?!??!! We will be back for sure!

The home is lovely, the best part was Justin’s breakfast! All of the staff were amazing. Very attentive. I highly recommend staying here. It is close to everything.
