We stayed for one night with our 2 kids. The hotel was filthy. Our room had peeling paint everywhere. The room had dried liquid that had been splattered on the wall. There were stains on the sheets. The bathroom had holes in the wall and smelled of mold. The breakfast offered expired milk. The side door to the hotel had no lock and anyone could enter the building to the stairwell from the parking lot. We were going to stay here on our way back home in a week and we canceled. Would never stay here again.

This hotel has gone down in quality each year that I have stayed here. Rooms are always in a state of renovation, with patches on the walls, etc. A small repair, such as a replacement of a broken door safety lock, is quickly attended to, but general "renovation" seems always to be ongoing. The Free Breakfast was hit or miss all three mornings of my stay, with food items being missing from the usual offerings, e.g. juice boxes, sausages, etc. I came to the dining room at 8 am each morning, well in advance of the 9 am cut-off time. The General Manager, a male w 6 yrs experience w Choice hotels, should be replaced by the daytime desk manager, Christi, who is very pleasant, polite, and most efficient . Hotel staff, from room cleaners to breakfast staff (Jackie) are pleasant, efficient, and hard-working. Final comment: Microwave in breakfast room was rusted on interior and unsafe. I reported this to management.

Not worth the price.
First room had an adjoining room but door to adjoining could not be locked. Second room had had the bathroom mirror removed. Third room left our white socks black after walking on the carpet...but we stayed. Breakfast had no sugar or cream for coffee other than flavored Coffeemate. No orange juice. Seemed impossible to control the AC/Heat thermostat..was either too hot or too cold. Flapper lift for toilet broke in middle of night...had to remove tank lid and pull up flapper by hand to flush. STAFF WERE VERY NICE, THOUGH.

Meh. Won't stop there again.
I'll start with the location: It was perfect. Just of I75, right next to Shoney's, room in the parking lot for our truck and utility trailer. Now for the not so great: It was shabby. Old carpet, bedding and furniture. The TV was very small and not smart, the USB ports didn't work, the marble-lined shower had a huge crack in it, and the old bathtub had a pock-mark in it like something heavy had been dropped in it. On to the bad: Our room was dirty. There was used soap in the shower, the bathroom door had a thick sticky coating of hairspray on it, there were drink rings on all the tables, the TV had a dirty film on it. Everything was dusty. The room we were in (317) had not seen a good clean in years. I didn't take my socks off for fear of what was on those floors, even in the bathroom. On top of all that we had to wait 10 minutes at the counter to check in because the worker was out having a smoke. I won't stay there again despite the convenience.

We flew from London and had a very long 22 hour journey to get here. Booked this hotel on Expedia. We didn't expect much for the price, just a clean, quiet room. It was not quiet, but can't complain as it is next to 1-75 so no surprise there, though not good sound proofing in the hotel build. The room smelled bad - not sure if the do smoking/non-smoking but this was a smoking room! It was cold so we switched on the heat which gave off a horrible smell like something was burning. The bathroom was not very clean - bits on the floor, dripping tub faucet, the sink faucet leaked water all over the sink counter when used, and the toilet flapper chain came off - obviously a common issue as the top of the cistern was slightly ajar. I fixed it myself. There were no additional blankets in the room so it was a cold night's sleep. We did not complain to reception, which was staffed by an extremely nice man when we checked in. He probably would have offered us another room, we knew that, but we were too tired and just wanted to sleep. The room is spacious and the bed was comfortable with clean linens. We were not expecting a 5 star hotel, but we were expecting clean and comfortable. We got comfort, but not clean. This hotel is obviously in need of some maintenance and better quality cleaning. I would not recommend it for a quick overnight stop along the highway as there are several other options at this location for similar price which will no doubt be cleaner and less tired.

Every member of the staff we interacted with was genuinely very nice, lots of smiles. The overall facility was very clean and well cared for. The breakfast service offerings were about what you would expect, but the area was kept very clean and well stocked. If we had any complaint, it would have to be maintenance issues in the bathroom. The sink faucet assembly was loose and areas were showing signs of rust (see attached pictures). Nothing a few minutes of touch up couldn't correct. The bathroom smelled of soured mop when we first entered but it dissipated shortly. Still, a very enjoyable stay for a reasonable price.

This hotel was ok for one overnight. The bedroom was clean. The bathroom could have been cleaner and really needs upgrading. The tub looked dirty and the porcelain coating was peeling. Room was very stuffy. Breakfast was fine.

The room has mold near the outlet for the AC unit and many dirty spots along the floor near the wall. Peeling Sheetrock under one of the curtains. Bathroom did not look clean.

Great Hotel
This comfort inn like all the others was a great hotel to stay however the pool and the hottub were broke as of September 7th. I was told they would try to have it fixed in a couple of weeks. I was on the 4th floor and got a great view of interstate 75 and the lights and stuff. Also i saw a beautiful sunset. The rooms are nice they have a large Tv,mine had 1 king sized bed,a sofa,microwave, mini fridge,desk,bathroom,shower,soap etc. There was plenty of lighting with lots of lamps,a closet with a place to hang your clothes etc. They have a pretty good breakfast with sausages,eggs and other hot foods along with biscuits,cerials,juices and so much more. The lobby is nice looking and it has some cold ice lemon water which is free. There is also an elevator,washer,dryer and ice machine. The room i was in was clean and the bed comfortable. I recommed staying here. Its also very close to High Fall State Park. I cant add photos because that feature is broken. The link wont work. Nothing happens when i click on it.
