It was disgusting! Dead and live bugs in the room, dead flees on the bed! It was so bad that I went to the front desk and told the lady that we were just going to keep traveling overnight. She offered to give me a refund but then conveniently couldn’t figure out how to do it for the card.

Okay for what it is: A place to park yourself overnight. The room was clean and had evidently been remodeled fairly recently. I could have done without the "smart" in that TV, though. I finally had to turn it off and then turn it on again to access Direct TV. It would have been nice if the mini-fridge had a freezer compartment, even if only a small one. Also, that disused pool in the back looked really nasty: scummy water with cans and bottles floating in it. They need to put a cover on that or demolish it.

The actual room was good but the exterior of the hotel was absolutely disgusting. They had no record of my reservation and it took 50 minutes to resolve this with Expedia before I could finally check in. Not good for a weary business traveller who just needed some sleep after a long week's work.

The owners seem to be trying to take a dump and make it better, but they have a long way to go! A few rooms have been remodeled nicely, but the rest of the place is a bit scary. Remodeling noises lasted until 10:30pm. They hadn’t found my reservation in the system and it took at least 15 min to check in...while we stood outdoors at a service window. There were characters outside on the balcony cussing and laughing until 2am. Some day this might be a good stop, but not at this time.

We were assigned a remodled room and it was very nicely done. It had a modern, industrial look and was clean. One of the best economy hotels we stayed in this year-
