Terrible customer service from desk staff

My family of 5 booked this while traveling, the hotel room was fine. However, when we arrived at 2:30 a.m. we had to stand and wait at the front desk for nearly an hour before we could check in and get door keys. There was no one to be found in the building. Both myself, and my husband checked everywhere, even in the employee lounge/office areas. This was extremely frustrating due to the fact that we had an infant and two other small children who desperately wanted to go to sleep in a bed, and were crying. We even attempted to call the hotel multiple times while standing in the lobby, with no response each time. Another guest also came in to check in, and had to wait also. We paid $172 for one night, and we will not be returning due to the lack of service from the staff.
