Magical cottage in the middle of a beautiful spring garden full of camellias, rhododendrons etc

Posted Jun. 6, 2017 on HomeAwayWe love staying at Filomena's Stone houses. Filomena is a great host, receive us with great warm and sympathy. The house is beautiful and surroundings amazing. Is perfect for a weekend gateway or if you can stay, enjoy a couple of days emerged in the lovely Madeira Nature. To those who appreciate, the bed is fabulous. Super comfortable. Filomena's Courtesy provide us basic food supplies, which is great if you don't feel to go out to diner. I absolute recommend, Stone Houses and we will try to came back to enjoy a longer stay. Thank you for everything Filomena.

Lovely, relaxing, cozy cottage

Great stay at Casa Camelia
Posted Nov. 10, 2020 on HomeAwayWe had a pleasant stay at Casa Camelia. As we had to wait for our Covid test result, Filomena provided some food for us which we highly appreciated. Every day there has been bread, juice, milk, cheese and a daily cleaning. The little house is surrounded by great nature. Its close to Funchal and the airport. We recommend this place to stay at when you are in Madeira.

Posted Aug. 11, 2019 on HomeAwayHet huisje ligt op een mooie rustige locatie 15 min van het centrum van Funchal. Het is een zeer net en mooi huisje van alle gemakken voorzien. Het wordt elke dag schoongemaakt door het vriendelijke personeel. Tevens wordt er elke dag ontbijt verzorgd waar niets aan ontbreekt. De eigenaren zijn daarbij ook nog zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

A wonderful week in a beautiful landscape
Posted Sep. 23, 2018 on HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time in this location. The house was so cute with a lot of lovely details.
Every morning we got a breakfast (that was very kind) und we loved sitting on the terrace and looking to the beautiful landscape. The place is great to take tours on the East side of Madeira (the Pico Ariero is not far).
Also it was great to have a levada next to the house so you can go jogging and walking.
The hosts (Filomena and Pedro) were so friendly and have some really good recommendations for us.
We would love to come back sometime (perhaps in winter or spring).

Schönes kleines Ferienhaus mit tollem Service
Posted May 21, 2018 on HomeAwayLiebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, in dem es uns an nichts fehlte. Inkludiert ist ein täglicher Service, der Putzen/ Betten machen und Lebensmittel auffüllen (Wasser, Saft, Milch, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Kaffee (Nespresso) und Obst) beinhaltete. Auf Wunsch gab es zudem abends frische Brötchen für den nächsten Tag. Täglich wurde Holz für den Kaminofen nachgelegt und der Ofen gereinigt.
Die Besitzer standen hilfsbereit mit Tips zum Essen gehen zur Verfügung.
Auch die Lage des Hauses war vorteilhaft, da vieles zeitnah mit dem Auto zu erreichen war.
Insgesamt also: sehr empfehlenswert!

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, haben uns jeden Tag frisches Brot zum frühstück besorgt, Wunderbar:)
Wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen.
