Amazing property
Posted Apr. 9, 2023 on HomeAwayI was extremely happy with this rental, and our host, Filomena. She made the process very smooth, and the property was just as advertised if not better. Walking distance to fantastic restaurants, as well as to port and old town Funchal. It’s a steep walk but a lot of fun.The views are simply outstanding, and the pictures can’t capture all of that. Would absolutely rent this property again on our next trip to Funchal.

Heaven on Earth
Posted Mar. 18, 2023 on HomeAway10-10 is not a sufficient score to describe this amazing Villa. It’s a mini mansion. The pictures on the VRBO listing do not do the property justice. Spotless, impeccable, vast, views to die for … what else can I add. Within walking distance to the heart of Funchal. Yes, there is the mandatory walk down and up a hill, typical of Funchal. We loved this property. Our host Filomena is an angel. She welcomed us as if we were family. The bottle of wine and farm fresh eggs provided were a gift from the heart. We felt at home and awestruck from the moment we walked into this wondrous home. The only downside, we wish we would have stayed longer. Do not hesitate to book and stay here, I pray we will be able to be back next year. Truly amazing stay.

Beautiful House in Central Position
Posted Sep. 23, 2022 on HomeAwayMy husband and I had a recent three week stay at this beautiful house. The house is stunning inside and out. The views across Funchal will be in our memories forever. Check in/out and communication with Filomena was great and she was very helpful and easy to contact. The house is in a nice neighbourhood and is gated and alarmed. The main supermarket is only 8 minutes walk down the road and easy to get a taxi back if you have lots of shopping. Funchal is wonderful to explore on foot and we were always finding new places and things we hadn't seen. The house was well equiped with everything you could need. Thank you Filomena for the wine and all the eggs, they were greatly appreciated. Caroline and Phillip

A hidden gem with the best views of the city
