Good location but terrible customer service

Pour : Location and general maintenance.
Contre : Villas should have AC’s. breakfast should have more variety and 24X7 room service is a must.
Emplacement : Abbey falls and Madikeri Fort.
No AC after being charged almost 5 star rates per night. Even though property is well maintained the absence of AC’s makes it a deal breaker and lack of 24x7 room service. Maybe good for old couples who want to go there and sleep only.

A very pleasant hotel

Pour : Beautiful and spacious rooms, sumptuous breakfast.
Contre : A little more variety with the restaurant menu.
Emplacement : Many of the tourist attractions are within an hour's drive. The town of Madikeri is a short drive from the hotel.
The villas are spacious and comfortable with verandas which are very pleasant for relaxing. Breakfast buffet is sumptuous. Housekeeping staff's unusual towel decorations were a nice touch. The hotel is an ideal base for exploring Coorg.

Emplacement : It cant get more closer to the highway than this but nothing to do nearby unless you go to town or tours
stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. overall experience was good. coming to pros and cons

Neat rooms and well constructed
Near highway
Wonderful ambiance in evening and early morning
Close to town
Staff were courteous
Rooms and surroundings look just like the picture put up by expedia
Cons
Food was disappointing and occasionally below average
No travel desk and they manage to get a cab for you and charge you INR 300 for going a distance of 1.5km
No recreational activities being a new property
No shops near by so if you get hungry other than meal times then tough luck
No newspaper ( sounds silly I know but I need one in the morning )
If people in the next villa are loud you can hear everything

There were many attractions not too far from the hotel. The staff was very friendly. The chef was very nice and the food was really very good. The variety of the food for vegetarians can be increased,
